How did this happen? (Sequel to when your with me)

Chapter 24

A/N: I know slow updates I'm sorry I'm just really busy.

I was sat in the living room, casually doing nothing when Anthony's new phone buzzed. Anthony was in the bedroom and I wanted to make sure that it wasn't an important call.

I looked at his phone and saw a message from Kalel.

To: Anthony
From: Kalel

I had a great time last night, we should do it again sometime?

I felt my blood boil. How could he even do this? I know I am probably overreacting over nothing but it is a little weird to have something like that sent to you by your ex.

I went over to Vanessa and put her coat on, u put her in the car seat and waited for Anthony to come out.
I put some music on for her and 'One More Night' came on by Maroon 5.

I could kinda relate to the video but oh well. I was waiting for him to come out but he didn't so I went to fresh foods for a little something to eat.

I put one earphone in my ear instead and listened to my Maroon 5 playlist. The first song was 'Misery'.
I was driving for five minutes then I arrived at Fresh Foods.

I got some vegetables and fruit then went back home.
Anthony was sat on the sofa with a worried look on his face.
"Where have you been?" He asked sounding worried.
I lifted the bag to him and walked to the kitchen after putting Vanessa's car seat down.

Anthony walked over to her and got her out, while taking her coat off. He sat on the sofa and rocked her back and forth for a while.
I walked back into the living room and decided to bring up the message that he had recieved.

"What was that message about?" I asked him. He shrugged.
"We went out to dinner- as friends after VidCon." I nodded and sat down, feeling a little relieved.

I knew Anthony wouldn't lie to me after what happened last time but I wouldn't be able to do that now because we are married and have a child to take care of.

I would never make Vanessa grow up without a dad.
