I was late as fuck,I don't even know how this was possible since my dad is literally my coach and my brother is on the team with me, plus I rode with them here.

I finish texting my dad,about two minutes away from the gym. I try to shove my phone in my pocket ,and just as I turn the corner I run into someone,
"Shit sorry" I mumble looking up to see a cute, short blonde.
"No it's totally my fault,I was looking at my phone" the blonde says back sweetly
I pick up my phone and jog to the gym

I was walking with my head buried in my phone as I try to keep up with my teams group chat when I suddenly run into a walk and stumble back,except the wall was a very familiar face. We say our apologies and I notice we both dropped our phones. So without thinking about it I pick up my phone and continue to our room before our game.
"Heyyy pookies" I say as I open the door,looking at everyone
" Arielle,why are you late?" Coach Tess says as I continue to walk in,setting my bag next to Frankie
"I was running here,and I bumped into someone" I say
"Now that Ari's finally here,let's go girls we gotta start warming up"

We won the game 30-16.
I get back to the room,completely Exhausted and ready to eat. I take all my stuff and head out with Frankie to my moms car, when I turn on my phone to see it's not my phone.
