"Alright, campers!" Chris boomed. Everyone was now sitting around the campfire in their pajamas, holding cups of hot chocolate.

"See, look how cozy you guys are! Isn't this fun? Are you guys having fun?"

"I think my hot chocolate ate my retainer."

Chris sighed. "And that's the reaction when I try to be nice. Beth, I'm sure you'll find your retainer somewhere in there. Sky, Ezekiel, get up here."

As the two campers made their way up to the campfire, the host unveiled two flags. One was blue with a picture of an ocean wave on it, and the other was red with a fire motif on it. "Zeeke, you represent the Water Team. Sky, you're the Fire team captain, and you get first pick."

Sky pretended to study the crowd, and chose Lightning.
"Sha-yeah!"

"Zeeke?"

Ezekiel looked at the waiting campers. Lindsay was nice to him...but he didn't want to seem desperate. Alejandro was really good in challenges, but he also scared Zeeke a lot. "I... uh... Dawn!"

She looked surprised as she got up to join him, but smiled.

"Sky?"

"Hmm... Courtney!"

Gwen and Duncan immediately turned to face Ezekiel. "Pick me! I don't wanna be with her!"

Zeeke froze. "Dawn, can you help me choose? I don't wanna hurt anyone's feelings, eh?

Dawn nodded. "I like Gwen more, but Duncan does have a sweet side... and he is better in challenges...go with him."

He chose Duncan, wincing apologetically as Gwen sighed.

CONFESSIONAL: Leshawna

"I feel bad for my girl Gwen. Either way, she'll be with her ex or her ex best friend. Sounds rough, that's for sure."

The two leaders starting choosing faster, their teammates leaning over to whisper names in their ears.

"I pick Alejandro."

"Gwen, eh?"

"Trent."

"Lindsay."

CONFESSIONAL: Heather

"So, I'm looking at Alejandro, right, and I'm telling him to tell Sky to pick me, and he's not. What is his deal?"

"Jasmine."

"Owen."

"Zoey."

"I...Noah!"

"Jesus, fine! Mike! Now shut up about it, Ariana Bland-e!"

CONFESSIONAL: Zoey

"Just because my hair's red doesn't mean I look like Cat Valentine! Can people leave me alone about that or what?"

"Beth."

"Leshawna."

Leshawna exchanged looks with Gwen as she joined her team.

"Anne Maria?"

"Justin."

"Brick!"

Heather looked around, now seeing that the choice was between her and Cameron . She got up, holding up her hands. "Okay, we all know I'm on-"

"Cameron."

As she sat back down, Heather saw Alejandro nod at Sky.

Zeeke really didn't want to be screamed at, but the rest of his team seemed even more reluctant to comfort Heather. Taking in a deep breath, he walked up to her.
