The sun lights the entire room and illuminates everything inside the room, her plushie is beyond counted and many dresses also girl stuff are spread all over the place. Her wardrobe also crumbles down along with her painting. Many papers shattered on the floor and made it look more messed up. Behind the door, she sat while hugging herself and crying while throwing a formal paper signed by a Doctor from the Hospital as a confidential document. She is still shocked by what happened but the reality is too cruel to be kind to her and make all of her dreams perish in a blink of an eye when she realizes what the letter said.
In her silence, she cursed herself and tried to scream but her voice stuck at her throat and the only thing she could do was cry. She looked at all of her trophies and paintings that shattered along with all of her wonderful dresses. She destroyed it intentionally as a sign of her broken heart with the reality that so cruel destroyed her and made her feel like she wouldn't have much time left to explore the world. Suddenly, a knock was heard on her door, she didn't wake or answer it but the door slowly opened and revealed Basil worried and shocked while looking around her room.
"Sweet God! Lilibet are you okay? Lilibet!" Said Basil while looking for her, he found Lilibet still crying behind the door, before he could ask anything else, he found the letter from Doctor and read it fast. He quickly realized what caused all the catastrophes inside her room.
Basil kneeled and looked at his cousin with worry and tried to calm her down but Lilibet pushed him away. Basil can't do anything but he keeps trying until Lilibet can't do anything except take Basil's arm and hug him tight. Basil felt that her heart pounding too fast and she hard to breathe but he keep tried to calm her down from her anger.
"It's okay... there there... I'm here... is everything alright?" Basil asked while brushing her back in worry.
"How... how can I be okay when I read that goddamn paper from Doctor?!" Snapped her while pushing him away.
"Hey... it's okay, you don't have to deal with this alone... you have me and everyone here" Basil stood following her and both of them sat by the end of their bed.
"No! you and my parents can't do anything about this! don't you get it?! It's impossible to be undone!" Said Lilibet while looking at the paper and throwing it away once again.
"I mean, you will face this together with us and no one will ever leave you, I promise"
Lilibet didn't say anything but she took the broken stone from her broken trophy then she looked at her favorite mirror while holding her tears.
"You do not understand anything, Basil! you dork! Get out! I... I... Aaarrgghh!!" Lilibet finally screamed and threw the stone into the mirror making it shatter all over the place and make a huge sound it also caught her parent's attention from downstairs, while Basil pulled Lilibet away from the broken mirror but ended up stretching his hand through the closest broken glass.
