MY FIRST SIGHT

PART IX

Later that morning, Haris slowly opened his eyes and adjusted the bright light from the sun that came from the closest window near his bed. He looked around and tried to figure out where he was, he tried to move but found out his held by someone, he tried to move something heavy on his chest and when he looked at it, it was the head of a girl. He opened his eyes wider and tried to think who she was, but when he saw a silver bracelet on her wrist, he realized who she was. Haris smiled wide and disbelief at what happened with his own eyes.

Haris looked around to find his phone to tell Jonathan and Leo, but then he realized where he was when he saw the door and the bed. He gasped and now understood why Lilibet was there he tried to remember what happened last night and then the short vision of what happened last night was seen through his eyes and he shook his head.

"Oh my God, we fell from the stairs," Haris said while trying to wake from his bed but no matter how hard he tried, his body was still too weak to stand on his own.

"Why I'm so weak? I can't even sit. what happen to me?" Haris said inside his heart while looking at his body but he quickly shook his head and tried once again.

He tried again, but this time he forced himself too hard and ended up making his stomach hurt so Haris groaned a bit but finally he could sit and at the same time Lilibet felt that Haris awake and so she was awaked and looked at Haris already sit and smile to her. Haris grinned at her, but instead of smiling back, Lilibet cried again.

"I... I'm sorry... I'm sorry, Haris... I know it's all my fault, I should not do that to you... I'm sorry now you have to suffer because of me" Lilibet said while sobbing and crying, Haris could feel her tears fall onto his hand so Haris took Lilibet's face and smiled at her with the warmest and most comfortable smile he ever gave to Lilibet.

"It's okay, Lilibet... It's not your fault, it was an accident, but please tell me you're okay. nothing hurt right?" Haris replied and Lilibet nodded slowly but quickly wiped her tears away from her cheek.

"Are you sure? why are you thinking of me while you're the one that hurt most instead of me?" Lilibet replied but Haris just smiled.

"Being a gentleman and a good friend, mean look after each other first than my own... it was why, it's okay, Lilibet... but are you sure, that you're okay?" Haris said while looking at Lilibet seriously and she nodded.

Lilibet was amazed by Haris's words and mind to think about her instead of his safety. She knows that Haris hit his head on the stairs and made him unconscious. It was also the one that made him get nosebleed, but Haris still thinking of her other than his own body. Lilibet is truly amazed by the love and how Haris shows her affection not everyone can do that in a time like this. Especially, when Haris knows that Lilibet is not like what he thought before she's smiling.

"Thank you... for saving me, Haris"

"You're most welcome, Lilibet. I'll be here like I said, I'll be here and enjoy our trip together... no need to be afraid"

"You're sweet, truly..."

"Thanks, did you see Jonathan and Leo somewhere? I thought I heard their voice not so long ago, are they okay?"

"I think they're going to search for breakfast or something, but yeah... Leo and Jonathan are the best friends that look after you so much. Leo is the one that drives you here in a car like a maniac, while Jonathan takes you to the emergency room and goes back to the Hotel to take your clothes, while I'm just a burden that hurts you and cries all over you like you're dead... I'm sorry" Lilibet lowered her head and then smiled weakly at Haris but Haris giggled.

"You're cute... You're not a burden, Lilibet. I'm sure that Leo will be the one that took me here with a car and Jonathan will be the one that running here and there takes care of my belongings... I'm happy that you're okay, Lilibet" Haris replied Lilibet smiled and she found comfort when he was close to Haris.
