Jungkook was all set to meet Hoseok early in the morning. He donned casual clothes, as it was Sunday, and he didn't want to dress up too much. His primary purpose in meeting Hoseok was to help him unpack, as he had just moved into a new place. A few days ago, Jungkook had found a fully furnished one-bedroom flat for Hoseok near his workplace, and he felt relieved that Hoseok loved the place.
As Jungkook was preparing to leave, he said goodbye to his mom, who was engrossed in writing in her diary. She asked him where he was going so early in the morning and reminded him that he had a family and that she had been trying to talk to him about something important for a few days.
Though Jungkook was in a hurry, he apologised and asked his mom what she wanted to discuss. She then told him that Mrs Kim wanted Jin's engagement in the upcoming month and that they needed to plan the event. Jungkook readily agreed to help his mom, but as he was about to leave, his mom suggested that he invite his special friend as well so she could meet him.
His mom's suggestion took aback Jungkook, as he had never mentioned anything about a special friend. However, his mom insisted that she knew everything about him and had even seen his new mobile wallpaper. Jungkook blushed and scratched the back of his head, feeling embarrassed, before saying goodbye to his mom and running to his car.
Jungkook was on his way to visit Hoseok at his new home. On the way, he stumbled upon a new flower shop and decided to buy some flowers as a gift for Hoseok. He was thrilled that his mother accepted his feelings towards Hobi, and he felt grateful for her support. As he walked towards Hoseok's new place, he couldn't help but feel a bit nervous about inviting him to Jin's engagement party. He wanted to ask him, but he was unsure how to approach the topic without making it seem like an obligation.
When Jungkook entered Hoseok's home, Hoseok ran towards him and embraced him tightly. Jungkook felt overwhelmed by Hoseok's affection, but he did not know how to reciprocate it. Hoseok was deeply caring for Jungkook, and the gesture moved him.
Jungkook felt taken aback by Hoseok's sudden embrace, yet he couldn't help but feel grateful for his kindness. He had been secretly in love with Hoseok for a long time, which only made his heart beat faster. Hoseok, however, was sobbing and struggling to speak.
"Why are you being so kind to me, Jungkook? I can never repay you for your kindness,"
Hoseok said, tears streaming down his face. Jungkook could feel the pain and despair in Hoseok's voice and was determined to do everything he could to help him feel better.
"My dear Hobi, you don't have to pay Me anything. Please accept me as your family. You are as important as my family.
If you want to pay me back, do me a favour. Next month, my brother is getting engaged, and we have many things to prepare for the event. My mom asked me to invite you to the party. Also, if you like, you can help me and my mom to organise the event as you have two more weeks to rejoin your work."
"Thank you, Kookie. I'm happy to help you. However, I'm curious how your mother found out about me?"
Jungkook scratched his head and answered hesitantly,
"Well, she might have assumed, or maybe she saw something."
He didn't want to reveal to Hobi that his mother had seen his mobile wallpaper of Hobi.
"What do you mean by "she saw something "?
Jungkook showed his phone to Hobi, revealing a picture of Hobi as his mobile wallpaper. Hobie's eyes widened in surprise, and his voice trembled as he asked,
"Kookie, why?"
Jungkook's confession of his feelings for Hobi suddenly dawned on him, and tears welled up in Hobi's eyes.
