Your POV

"Here." I said, handing a small bag to Ben, who sat in the passenger seat. "Thank you." Ben said, looking back at me. "Hang on, is that a sandcrawler?" Luke asked as he drove us to a giant machine. "Yeah, looks a lot like the one we got the droids from." I said.

It was odd to see it still, and not moving. My curiosity was slowly replaced by pity as we approached to see the sandcrawler shot up, and the corpses of jawas littered the ground. "What happened here?" Luke asked as everyone got out of the speeder.

"I don't see anyone alive." Roger said as he poked at a corpse. Luke picked up a gaffi stick that belonged to the sand people as we approached the destroyed sandcrawler.

"It looks like the sand people did this, all right. Look, there's gaffi sticks, bantha tracks. I've just never heard of them hitting anything this big before." Luke said as he stuck the stick into the ground.

"They didn't, but we are meant to think they did. These tracks are side by side. Sand people always ride single file to hide their numbers." Ben explained. "These are the same jawas that sold us R2, 3PO, and Roger." I confirmed.

"And these blast points," Ben said, redirecting our attention. "Too accurate for sand people. Only imperial stormtroopers are so percise." Ben explained.

"But why would imperial troops want to slaughter jawas?" Luke asked. We both then turned to see the droids messing with a corpse. "Wait, if they traced the robots here, they could've learned who they were sold to, and that...." I went silent in realization.

"Home!" Luke yelled as he ran to the speeder. I followed him, Ben calling out that it's too dangerous for us. We didn't listen. "Faster!" I yelled. "It's at the max!" Luke yelled back as we sped back home.

I checked my blasters on the way, my anxiety flaring up. After a drive that felt like hours, we made it back. Black and white smoke bellowed from the homestead as we stopped. We hopped out, calling for Owen and Beru.

Luke called out their names again as I noticed something. I walked forward to get a better look. Once I saw it however, I fell to my knees, dropping the blaster rifle. "L-luke." I called over, defeat crawling all over my body.

Two charred skeletons laid before me as Luke came over, speechless at what he saw.
