9 & 3/4

We've been told to walk the last 2 streets to the station.
It was rather annoying actually as the driver Enzo's mother sent with us could have easily dropped us there.

Grabbing my severely overstuffed trunks, yes plural, we began making our way to Kings Cross.

Enzo had somehow managed to fit everything he needed into one trunk and offered to carry some of my but I declined not wanting to take advantage of his kindness.

"Are you sure?" He looked pointedly at my luggage, "you look like you packed your entire room.

Rolling my eyes I point underneath it and his eyes widen as he realises everything is floating.
"Wingdardim leviosa" I giggle lightly walking ahead my luggage trailing behind.

He stood silently in disbelief before hurriedly catching up to me, "Breaking the rules already I see."

At Kings Cross I load my things on a trolley and Enzo gives me my ticket.
"3/4?" I look up at him confused to which he starts choking on laughter, "What?" He's still laughing so I walk over to one of the workers who spots me instantly.
"What wrong miss?" He says looking confused at why a girl my age doesn't understand how a train station works.

"Do you know where platform 9 & 3/4 is?" The look I earn from this man is pure and utter disbelief.
"I've only been asked that once before," he says stuck deep in his memory, "some scrawny little 11 year old lad, god, 6 years ago now."

I slowly back away realising the muggle is confused. Still mumbling about glasses and dark hair. And an owl? Clearly some muggle born year 7 who was probably my age now had been left alone to long.

Confusion is dangerous it leads to speculations.
I felt a hand rest on my shoulder, "yeah best not ask the muggles," Enzo whispered in my ear as to avoid attracting attention.
Noted.

He began leading me in the direction of the imaginary platform when someone called out, "Enzzzoo!"
Turning to find the source of the voice I saw a boy around our age walking toward us.
"Oh god," Enzo muttered.
He came over leaning on my trolley.
"Is this what you where doing all summer?" The boy asked Enzo while gesturing toward me.
The both look at me, "I have a name you know!"
"Oh and what is it," The boy turns from Enzo to me.
"Alexia Heart," I state flustered at his poor manners. Glaring at this boy who has already got on my nerves.

"She's a Heart," the boy looks at Enzo who smirks at the floor.

Confused I look at the new boy, "And what about it?"
Attention returning to me he glanced me up and down with newfound respect, "Nothing principessa."
Turing to him at the random nickname I glance over at Enzo who's still silently smirking.

Looking back at the boy, "What the fuck is that supposed to mean?"
Still looking at me now slightly more confused, "It's Italian," he points out like it was something I should know, "For princess." He adds when I still look confused.
"Theo by the way," holding out his hand for me to shake.
I ignore him which causes Enzo to half choke on suppressed laughter earning him a glare from Theo.

The two of them chat on the way to '9 & 3/4' and I try not to listen.
Eventually they stop at a solid brick wall.

"Why did you stop?"
Theo looks at me, "She's coming with us?"
"Well no you dumb shit, I'm just carrying all these trunks for no reason," It was bad enough I didn't belong here never mind someone pointing it out directly. I only realised I had raised my hand when Enzo grabbed it restricting me from unintentionally hitting this boy.
Maybe intentionally now I was aware I could do it.
"Feisty this one, isn't she."

I had to resist every urge not to murder the boy right there.
"Hey calm down. He's not worth it, believe me." I lowered my hand at Enzo's words but it was shaking uncontrollably.

"Right let's get onto the platform shall we, Theo you first," Enzo clearly inserting himself in between us.

Theo ran at the solid brick wall disappearing on contact with it.
Was he dead?
"Holy shit!" My hands rested behind my head in shock.
Frozen with my mouth agape.
He disappeared!
Vanish into thin air.
Did he apperate.
No I the space didn't warp as far as I can remember.
"You next Theo should be waiting on the other side," Enzo said, so calm despite his friends disappearance. Noticing my sheer terror he explained, "Didn't think they'd stick the train in plain site did you."
After a lot of explaining and reassuring I wouldn't die I ran at the wall.
Smoke filled my nose as electricity changed to steam.
Old school.
I looked at the traditional train before seeing Theo lent on a wall with his arms crossed.
"Took you long enough. Also you might wanna move," I shifted to the side just as Enzo came crashing through the wall.

The three of us climbed into the carriage and Theo turned around, "She can't come in here!"
"Theo.."
"No Enzo! I've put up with her enough today she can go with all the other unsorted first years."

I felt the heat climb up my cheeks, "It's fine, I'll just go," I turned to run away but fingers knot their way around my wrist.

"Your staying here." Enzo says to me still glaring at Theo.

I'm staring to feel that my simple presence has cause a divide in their friendship.

"Let's go meet the others then," Theo huffs in dismay.
