The world's turned gray, the colors bled,
Since the day you turned and fled.
A canvas blank, devoid of hue,
Life's vivid shades replaced with blue. The sun may rise, the moon may glow,
But their light's lost the warmth I know.
The laughter, music, once so bright,
Now distant echoes in the night. The bustling streets, the whispering trees,
All murmur in a hollow breeze.
The taste of life, once sweet, now bland,
A world I can't quite understand. In every corner, every space,
I seek the light of your embrace.
Without you here, the world's askew,
A palette dull, just grays, no new.Yet in this void, I must find strength,
To walk alone, to bridge this length.
And though the world seems dull and dire,
I'll search within for my own fire.
