No mention of a Marchioness at all, and it's weird that they knew my actual name. The Maid called me Etheria de Alari. How strange. I glance at the clock on my phone. The time hadn't moved since I last checked it. 4 hours till The Underground. I shove everything under the bed and rush to the door. Standing outside is a guard. "What time is it?" I ask rather extremely.

"It's half-past six." He croaks after looking at a nearby clock.

"What time was it when I entered my room?"

"Five forty, My Lady." So time was still moving. Just here, though.

"What event is happening at the palace that has all of the nobles here?"

"Why the funeral of the Late King." The guard makes a concerned face.

"I see." I shut the door and sit back down on the bed. Those are the first events of the book. How the Crown Prince and the Grand Duke meet. They bump into each other in the hallway and The Grand Duke is remorseful, he gives his condolences to the Prince but he reveals he hates his father. They drink and get to know one another. That begins their secret correspondence.

Well, If it's the one thing I've learned from Isekai logic, all i need to do is wait for the end of the book to go home; if time isn't moving back home while I'm here, I can still go meet Christopher Wood when this is all over. Might as well have some fun.

I wanna change the ending of this book to something not so depressing, but how can they be together? The main boss was the Crown Princes dutiful relationship to his Kingdom. How can I get rid of that?

I can take his Kingdom. Perfect! If I accede to the throne instead of him, he can finally run away with the Grand Duke! Ok now how do I do that.

A relaxing stroll in one of the palace gardens gets my brain juices flowing. I could start an uprising in either the commoners or nobles so that they want me as their Queen, and he will have no choice but to step down. Maybe he'll go down willingly? I let myself falsely believe.
