Lute Pov:
Huh it's been an hour now she's supposed to be here for breakfast, maybe she's busy...

Another day of extermination this time targeting the Hazbin hotel, exorcist slaughtering every demon crossing their path showing no mercy, But demons are suddenly fighting back killing them with their own weapons. Unexpectedly a barrier formed around the hotel trapping some exorcist inside.

"The f*ck" Adam said.
"It appears they have some kind of shield sir." Lute informed.
"Oh really? I didn't see this giant fuckin shield Infront of me you dumb b*tch!" yelled Adam.

Adam rushed in with strength, breaking the barrier in one punch.

Lute Pov:
I charged in already killing several demons, even tho they figured out how to kill us they are still weak.Continuing the onslaught I caught a glimpse of a familiar face wait a demon, it looks like...
Emily?... She too saw me as we gaze at one another.I froze as thoughts came running through my mind How is she here?, Why is she here, What happened??! As I was immobilized by the thoughts and questions in my head I didn't notice Vaggie charging right at me.

We fell on the ground and I was able to block her spear. I kicked her, grabbed her head and slammed her to the ground. I raised my sword and about to stab her when Emily called out "Lute No!" I stopped then Vaggie punched me right away.I stumbled, blood coming out through my nose and mouth, that hit hard. "Vaggie wait!." Emily yelled again.

Emily Pov:
I couldn't believe what I was doing, I was fighting my own kind. I can't believe I'm doing this.

Before the extermination Charlie said that I don't need or shouldn't get involved with this, especially a battle against the angles. But I straightly told her that I already was involved with this, from the beginning of the exterminations even when I have not known about it before, I was already involved and I want to help her, all of them. It's the least I could do for taking me in and letting me be a part of their family.

"Vaggie wait! Don't hurt her please.." I called out and Vaggie stepped back just after she punched her, seeing Lute on the ground covered with the blood of demons and her own filled me with sorrow. "Lute..I can explain..I...".

"Em..Wha..what happened?!" "I...fell. After the court meeting and discovering the yearly exterminations in hell I knew it was wrong. I told Sera that the killings were not necessary, I pleaded with her to end these exterminations and that Charlie's Plan of redemption, a chance for sinners to change is a better solution to this problem.Questioning everything else, about heaven led me here..and I'm sorry.. But why didn't you tell me about all of this?!"

Lute Pov:
I stayed quiet, I don't know what answer to give her but "Emily I took part in these exterminations to protect heaven, to protect you! If these sinners are left alone they will find ways to take over heaven. You shouldn't even be here.. with them! They are nothing but hopeless souls that f*cked up, deserving to be down here, even fallen"

"Lute Stop!" I kept quiet, her eyes filling with tears. "I didn't mean the.." realizing what I just said, Emily responded."Yes they made mistakes but they're still souls..Imagine if you are one of them, sent down here just to be killed without even being given a chance to change."
"So please help me, think about it, or at least don't let me see you being in these exterminations ever." She continues.

Suddenly the ground shook, a yellow beam struck breaking the hotel in half and debris flying around. One was about to hit Emily but I immediately pushed her back avoiding it. With all the commotion I had to leave Emily. After a while the dust settled and seeing Adam stabbed by a small demon, I rushed in to check on him but he was dead. I called out to all exorcists to retreat and look back to see Emily one last time feeling like I lost her.

Already in heaven I deeply thought. A chance to change, if only I could change everything what happened. I didn't even get to comfort her when she needed it nor I was there. Maybe She was right..
