Eshanth stormed out of the meeting room, his face flushed with anger, his strides long and purposeful. His clenched fists and tense shoulders spoke volumes about his frustration and discontent. As he passed by, his colleagues exchanged uneasy glances, silently acknowledging the intensity of his emotions. The atmosphere he left behind was charged with tension, a palpable reminder of the heated exchange that had just taken place.

The secretary, Tanush Agarwal hurriedly followed Eshanth, maintaining a respectful distance as he observed his brisk pace and furrowed brow. Despite his silence, his attentive posture and quick steps reflected his readiness to assist or address any concerns that might arise.

Eshanth stormed into his office, the door swinging open forcefully behind him. His face was etched with frustration, his jaw clenched, and his eyes narrowed in anger. He moved with purpose, striding across the room with determined steps. The atmosphere seemed to shift as he entered, the usual calm replaced by a tense energy that seemed to crackle in the air. Without a word, he headed straight to his desk.

Tanush followed Eshanth and stand at a respectful distance, waiting for his boss to say something.

" Tanush go bring me today's meeting file." Eshanth said.

Tanush leaves the room as soon as he got the command.

Eshanth turns his head to look out of the window. ' How can that women think my company will do something like this...buying small companies and pushing them out of the business is stupid. I take pride on my company, my empire, I'll never let anyone put or do any nonsense thing in its name.'

Eshanth, his emotions still raw and visible, paused abruptly as he caught sight of a photo of his wife, that was flashing on his phone screen.

Eshanth picked the call and waits for Adarshini to speak.

•••••••••••

At home, Adarshini sat nervously, her fingers tapping lightly on her phone as she hesitated to call her husband. Her cheeks flushed with a hint of shyness, and she bit her lower lip, a habit that betrayed her anxiety. Despite her desire to reach out, a wave of hesitation washed over her, making her second-guess herself. She glanced at the phone screen, contemplating whether to press the call button, her heart racing with anticipation and nervousness at the thought of speaking to him.

After mustering her courage, Adarshini dialed her husband's number and waited anxiously for him to pick up. When he answered, she fell silent for a moment, her nerves getting the best of her. She fidgeted with the phone, her words caught in her throat as she struggled to find the right thing to say.

Sensing her hesitation, " Adarshini." Eshanth spoke first, his calm voice breaking the tension and putting her at ease.

As soon as the Adarshini heard her husband's voice on the phone, her heart began to race. A rush of emotions flooded her, causing her pulse to quicken and her breath to catch in her throat. The sound of his familiar tone triggered a wave of warmth and comfort, yet also excitement and anticipation. Her chest felt tight with the intensity of her feelings, and she struggled to maintain her composure as she continued to listen to him speak.

" Eshanth Ji aap ghar kabtak ayenge?" Adarshini asked.

Adarshini sat in silence, her phone pressed to her ear, waiting expectantly for her husband to continue the conversation. However, a sudden silence fell over the line as her husband paused, leaving her with a sense of anticipation and uncertainty. She could hear nothing but the faint static of the phone line, and her thoughts raced as she wondered what might be going through his mind. Despite the quietude, she remained patient, giving him space to gather his thoughts or respond whenever he was ready.

" I'll be there at 9:00. Do you want something?" Eshanth asked in his gentle tone.

" Okay, I'll wait for you then. We'll have dinner together and no I don't want anything." Adarshini speaks more like whisper.

" Okay." Eshanth answered after being quiet for few moments.

A beeb sound was heard after his voice.

After her conversation with Eshanth, Adarshini sat back with a gentle smile on her face, her eyes fixed lovingly on her phone. She held it delicately in her hands, as if it were a cherished treasure.

" Please god, let me love him."

Adarshini eagerly awaits Eshanth to return from work, looking forward to their evening together. She checks the clock frequently, excited for the moment when he walks through the door. She has set the table with his favorite dishes, making sure everything is just right. As she waits, she imagines the conversations they'll have and the laughter, if possible they'll share over dinner. The anticipation builds as each minute passes, and when she finally hears the sound of his steps at the door, her face lights up with a smile of joy and warmth.

Eshanth walks into his home after work, exuding confidence and looking very handsome. His attire is sharp, perhaps a well-fitted suit or a stylish ensemble that accentuates his features. His demeanor reflects a sense of pride. As he enters, his presence fills the space with a certain charm and charisma. Adarshini, seeing him, can't help but admire his appearance and the way he carries himself with such grace.

Adarshini walk towards Eshanth, sensing her presence Eshanth look at her.

Adarshini extends her hand. Eshanth stare at her hands then at her face, confused. " Coat." Adarshini points at the coat which was hanging around Eshanth arms. Her face warm up a little feeling Eshanth eyes on her, but she decided to be confident.

Eshanth handed her his coat and stood there as if he was waiting for her next word. Adarshini took the coat and felt her heart warm up a little, her thumb lightly caresses the fabric. She looked up at Eshanth and gave him a small smile.

" Dinner is ready. Wash up and come downstairs."
Saying this Adarshini walk back to the kitchen. Only she knows how hard it was to take a word out of her mouth.

" I hope today's dinner will bring Eshanth happiness." Adarshini smile to herself.
