Black diamond covered her mouth in shock and horror at what she was witnessing and fell to her knees picking up the shattered remains of Pearl, the warrior that had been fighting by her side as long as she had been on earth. She sobbed softly as she held the broken pieces to her chest feeling her heart ache "W-Why did i-it have to be you Pearl..?" She sobbed holding the broken pieces "why you..?" She got to her feet shakily after gathering Pearls peices, she made her way slowly to the temple her head hung low with tears still dripping from her face "If only you'd let me...... Us help you... Then this would never of happend."
Black diamond spent weeks trying to overcome the constant ache of lossing her best friend, she had seen Pearl as the closest friend, possibly even an older sister. With the thousand year distance between their ages it made scense. But now all Black diamond could do was cry while remebering Pearls happiest moments. The ones that made her laugh before, could only make her cry now. All she had learnt from her all she had done with her, gone. Memories that where forever lost to the infinat cosmos, they could not be retrieved... After all... You can't repair a shattered gem.
