"Look, Dinah there's another one." For the fourth time that week, Normani reached into her locker and grabbed the cupcake that sat on the top shelf, waiting for her. "And this one says... K."
Dinah stared at the cupcake thoughtfully. "So, Monday was P... then A... we don't know yesterday's-"
"It has to be Parker!" Normani cut her off.
"What are you guys talking about?" Lauren asked as she walked up to them with Ally by her side.
"Oh, hey guys!" Dinah greeted them cheerily. "Where's Camila?"
"Well, since my first class is with Normani, and Ally's first class is with you, we decided we'd just meet up at your lockers and everyone could walk together." Lauren explained. "Camila's class is on the other side of the building."
"Is that a cupcake?" Ally asked Normani.
"Yes," Normani answered. "Dinah and I have come to the conclusion that Parker has been sending them to me this week."
"Parker? Why him?" Lauren questioned.
"Well, the cupcakes all have different letters on them. I didn't read yesterday's letter before I ate it, but the ones we know are P, A, and K. I'm guessing yesterday's was R. He's spelling out his name in cupcakes!"
"But you don't know that for sure," Lauren replied.
"What else could the message be?" Normani challenged.
"Well... I don't know, honestly. But I'm just saying to not jump to conclusions. What if you get a new one tomorrow?" Lauren suggested. "Besides, you wouldn't want to make yourself look stupid by confronting him and finding out it wasn't him."
"She's right," Dinah agreed. "You're pretty smart, Lauren!"
The green-eyed girl laughed. "Thanks."
"Well, we should probably get going," said Ally. "Come on Dinah, let's go!"
