I walked slowly back home along the forest path. A very strong and gusty Highland wind was blowing. I took my steps carefully, careful not to trip on the sharp stones lining the path from the school building. Above the trees, the snow-covered Giewont towered. I was carrying a heavy rucksack with books on my back, and the wind roared ever stronger. Because of this force, the mighty spruces were leaning dangerously low over the path in their midst.
I walked for about ten minutes, trotting around the forest flowers that sprang up from the ground in some places. As I walked along, I hummed the song "Old doll", which was constantly looping on Spotify.
A gentle, yet dark and mysterious composition, it flew in my headphones, calming my breathing after a very hard day. In my mind, I was wondering how I had done on the tests. I was walking like this when suddenly a strong gust of wind, pushed me forward, despite my almost fifteen kilogram backpack I toppled over, falling on a sharp stone.
- Ouch! No no! I cut my knee again! - I said reproachfully to myself after which I groaned in pain once more. After a short while, the burning stopped, but the blood itself was still dripping and I figured I'd be home in about 5 minutes, so it would be best if I started walking there already. Especially considering, nailing the unfortunate high winds. I slowly got up on my feet after an accidental fall, then shrugged my polyester grey school uniform skirt out of the dirt and small bits of stone.
I was getting closer and closer to my house, with my favourite song still sounding in my headphones. Step by step I slowly approached the end of the forest. Moving this way towards the street where the building I grew up in was located. I smiled gently as I saw a frail ray of sunshine, sneaking out from behind the tall huge, mysterious trees. I slowly made my way towards the boundary between the trees and the lawn. 'Old doll' was playing on Spotify the whole time.

Suddenly I felt a shadow above me. I looked up and at the same moment I felt a bump on my head. It wasn't an ordinary blow; it was very strong. I fell to the ground. Something very large and heavy fell on my body. After the impact, I felt a void and the light went out in front of my eyes. For 50 seconds all I could hear was the music on my headphones and broken screams. - Y/n! Y/n! - shouted the person but I couldn't move. I felt empty. I could only hear the faint sounds of my favourite song played on the piano. I felt nothing. I saw darkness. After a while I
felt nothing...
Emptiness... Darkness... Deafness...
