"Where's your knife?!" You marched up to Swan and demanded the switchblade he packed with him.

Swan didn't vocally respond, he dung into the outside pocket on his vest and handed you the knife that he had packed. You took the knife from Swan and headed back to Luther who had stood himself up with a wobble and his revolver in his hand pointing at you.

"Y-you're dead, both of you..." Luther aimed and fired in your direction.

You dodged out of the way before Luther fired, you knew it was coming so you had a head start. Swan was still behind you correcting his sandy vision which was getting better, you just hoped that the bullet missed him.

As you jumped to the side of the gunfire, you did something you had never tried before. It could have ended terribly, but you did your actions so fast without thinking it through.

You launched the Switchblade at Luther without thinking of the consequences, but it sure as shit felt good. It felt like the thrill you'd get out of a western duel back in 1899 and it turned out to be one of the best moves you could have made in a fight. The knife stabbed its way through Luther's forearm and it disarmed him. Luther dropped the gun and he dropped himself down to the sand with a scream, holding his wound.

Luther kept hold of his bleeding arm and the knife that was lodged in there, you had caught him perfectly. Maybe hitting a vein and or an artery, with how blood soaked through his hoodie and began to seep through his fingers. You could tell you had damaged something inside of him with how much he was bleeding. You knew that Luther wasn't stupid enough to pull the knife out himself, but you weren't.

You were enjoying watching him, you were enjoying watching him whimper in still pain. You laughed at his cowering dog like body language and you wanted it to last longer since he wasn't going to.

Swan finished clearing his eyesight from the sand thrown in his face, he was left with a bit of soreness, but he wasn't temporarily blinded or itching now. Swan watched you from a distance and knew that you were getting the revenge you deserved. The new Warlord felt good knowing that he had helped you accomplish one of your goals and he knew that Cleon would have been proud.

As you stepped over to Luther curling down, he gave you a look that was hard to read. You could tell that Luther had fear in his eyes, he was terrified. His face said differently, he was frustrated and hated that he was cornered. Deep down, the two of you knew that this was the end for him. You pulled the knife from Luther's arm and found his flinch and pained moan satisfying, even when you wiped the blood off in his hair, it felt powerful, you felt like you were in control now.

"What does it feel like to be so scared that you can't move?" You asked as you pocketed the knife in your back pocket.

Luther didn't respond, he didn't even look at you, he remained as a shivering statue holding his arm.

"It's awful... Isn't it?" You smiled just like Luther did to you when he cornered you.

"It hurts... Doesn't it?" You checked the ammunition inside of Luther's gun.

There was one bullet left.

BANG!

You shot the gun with zero hesitation in Luther's presence. You had nothing else to say to him and he had no more to say or do to you. After an overlong cliff-hanging ride, it was all over. The bullet shot through the side of Luther's head, directly in his temple, killing him instantly. He was dead before he hit the ground. A weight was taken off your chest and you felt like you could breathe without living trepidation. The physical sight of seeing that he was gone, felt so dynamic and redoubtable. Swan stuck to his promise and you knew you'd struggle to repay him that.
