Mitch's POV
I was still astounded by the fact that a popular girl had asked me out. I decided to walk because I needed fresh air. And I needed to get away from Kirstie. I walked into Starbucks and saw Tori. "Hey!" She said greeting me with a hug. "Hey," I said awkwardly. I haven't been on a date in awhile okay? "I have a friend joining us is that ok?" Tori said smirking. "Ya that's fine." I was saying NO I just want it to be us two in my head but I kept my thoughts to myself. Soon Kirstie comes into Starbucks. And Tori waved, "oh there she is!" She better be talking about someone else. Kirstie walked up to us and sat across from me. I got up but Tori blocked me. "This was a plan wasn't it." I said crossing my arms. "Yup," Tori said pulling me down. "Why do you want me here?" I asked Kirstie slugging down in my chair. "Mitch can't I just have an honest to god conversation with you, please?" Kirstie pleaded. "Fine." I said sitting up. Tori took a seat next to Kirstie, keeping quiet. Kirstie's started the conversation off, "Mitch why do you hate me so much?" That was a tuff question, even I didn't really know the answer. "What you did was disgusting, why should I support it." Kirstie shook her and folded her arms, glaring at me. "Mitch I really just need your support right now. My mom hates me and forced me out of my own house." Than again I didn't even realize that. I was being selfish, but being me I continued the game. "Shouldn't that be your consequence?" I said glaring back at her.

Kirstie's POV
I can't believe he just said that. I had just become friends with him and now he just crossed the line. Tears were forcing their way to my face but I could stop them. I had an idea, I'll show Mitch the impact of his hatred. "Mitch do you know what I've been doing these past few days?" Mitch shook his head and said, "probably something stupid." This time I couldn't hold back my tears. They just started streaming down my face. "Yes I did something stupid, I cut, you happy?" Mitch's look than became unreadable. "But you know who helped me stop? Tori did because she's a real friend," I paused I had to get out of here quick, "c'mon Tori lets go!" As Tori and I reached the door I hear Mitch yell, "wait!" He stood up and hugged me. The warmth of his body felt nice for a change. "I'm so sorry Kirstie. I was being selfish and didn't realize how much pain you were in," he was crying now too. I wanted the hug to last forever. Sadly it had to end because Tori was there and it's awkward for her. Mitch, Tori and I walked back to Mitch's house. Mitch and I were holding hands the entire way there. Tori, Mitch and I hung out for a little bit but soon Tori had to go so Mitch and I talked a little bit more. "I'm glad we're back to normal," Mitch said smiling, "me too, you have no idea how hard these last few days have been." Mitch nodded his head, "I know princess, I know." He was being so nice and caring. I couldn't take it anymore. I needed to kiss him. So I did. It felt right. I could hear fireworks everywhere.

Mitch's POV
Kirstie and I had a moment of silence. She was probably thinking. All of the sudden I felt a pair of lips touch mine. Kirstie was kissing me. Kirstin flipping Maldonado was kissing me! It felt amazing! I haven't kissed a girl in years. Once the kiss was over Kirstie looked me and smiled. It's been awhile since I've seen her smile. "I love you." I whispered into her ear. "I love you too," she said kissing my cheek. Soon I heard my dad coming towards my room. Luckily Kirstie and I weren't cuddling or anything so he didn't suspect a thing. "Mitch Scott is here. He says he needs to talk to you alone," I got up and walked towards the door. Kirstie went to her room and closed her door so Scott wouldn't see her. When I arrived at the door Scott didn't look like normal evil Scott, he looked mad and gross. "Mitch we need to talk," he said angrily. I led him to my room and sat down on my bed. "What is it?" I said, "did you start a rumour about me?" He asked folding his arms and glaring at me. "Of course not!" I yelled shocked that he would even ask that. "Im not even popular." He nodded his head. He now looked calmer, but sad. "What was the rumour about?" I asked sitting up. "The rumour," he begun, "was about me starting the rumour about Kirstie." I thought he did start the rumour about Kirstie. But since he could beat me up in a flash I decided to keep that to myself. "Do you want to talk to Kirstie?" I asked folding my arms. "I don't think she wants to talk to me," Scott said looking down. Kirstie than appeared in my doorway. "I heard my name," she said glaring at Scott. Scott gave me a mad look. Uh oh. "You hooked up with my ex! You bastard" he said slapping me causing me to touch my face in pain. "Scott he never did! I'm staying with him because my mom kicked me out!" Scott than looked at Kirstie in complete and udder shock. "I started this," he said under his breath, "I started this." He got up and headed out of the house. Kirstie checked out my face to make sure it was okay. It was throbbing so much.

Kirstie's POV
I can't believe Scott punched Mitch. He doesn't even think anymore. I gave Mitch a cold towel to help the throbbing go away. Soon he was back to normal. I cuddled up next to him. He than whispered to me, "thank you for everything," before he drifted off to sleep
