- First person POV (kill me.) -
It was the first day back from summer and guess who the first person I saw was? That's right, Draco fucking Malfoy. I don't even know how I keep running into him. I've seen him at least 8 times today. Which, yes, we are in the same house but at this point it's annoying as hell. I don't want to see his damn face, and I doubt he wants to see mine.
It was already late at night and I have seen Draco exactly 24 times today. Yeah, I kept count. Sue me. But to my "surprise" here comes Draco, walking into the Slytherins common room where I was. It's like he does this on purpose!
"(Y/n)," he spoke my name was if he was just acknowledging my presence. By his tone of voice, it's obvious he's pissed off by the same thing as me.
"Malfoy," I say back, keeping a stern voice before I looked back at the fireplace. Draco walked over to the couch and sat right fucking next to me. "Really?" I looked back at him, pissed off at this point.
Draco let out a small chuckle, leaning his elbow closest to me against the back of the couch. "Yes, really. Why, does this bother you, (y/n)?"
I scoffed before looking away. How should I approach this? Rudely? Nicely? Confused? I'll pick..
"Yes. I don't want to see your damn face. Everytime I see you I want to punch your damn face in."
Nailed it.
Draco definitely was caught off guard. He looked away, fixing his tie as he cleared his throat. Oh he definitely was a coward.
"At least I don't-" He stoped mid sentence. Why? Because he can't think of a snappy come back. Pathetic, really.
"Oh? Were you saying something, Malfoy?" I mocked him, clearly enjoying this. I looked back at him, crossing my arms with a smirk plastered on my face.
Draco looked back at me, letting his elbow fall off the back of the couch back to his lap. "Shut up, (y/n)." I couldn't help but laugh at him. It was so easy to either piss him off, or get him to just stay quiet.
"You love me," I nudged his arm, nudging his arm with a smirk. Maybe this wasn't the best thing to do, because the next thing Draco did was stand up and leave. I didn't even have time to register it, it's like I blinked and he was gone. It left me confused, but I decided to just ignore it and turn back to the fireplace.
- Time skip😡 -
It's been a week since school started again. It's been pretty easy, despite the occasional weird talk with Draco. He's been so odd lately. He would start a fight, but then just get cowardly and stop talking. Or is it cowardliness? I've never been to good at reading people, so who knows. Maybe he's in love with me? Pfft, like that would happen.
I was running to potions class since I slept in hella late. 'Fuck, Snape is going to kill me!' I soon made it to class, slightly out of breath. Thankfully Snape had his back turned to the door, so I could easily sneak in. I looked for an available seat, and by some weird ass "miracle," there was an open seat next to Draco. I rolled my eyes before sneaking into class, getting in the seat next to the blond.
Draco scoffed as he saw me, crossing his arms and looking away. I got out a piece of parchment for notes, along with a quill.
That's when Snape turned around back to the class. He narrowed his eyes, turning silent. Immediately I began to panic, he definitely knew I arrived late. "Detention," is all Professor Snape said before continuing his lecture. I groaned before resting my head down on the desk.
- Time skip again😭 -
After I finished all of my classes, it was time to go to detention. I walked in only to see.. Draco? What the hell was he doing in here? I walked over to him and leaned down to him, since he sat in one of the chairs. "The hell are you in here for?"
