"Cale-nim..." Choi Han was glaring at the four that sat beside Cale's bed, waiting for him to wake up.

After the war was over, Cale had fainted on the spot. Reason? Perhaps the amount of blood he lost, or fear from the last kill. But now he was in bed, resting and recovering.

Dan Heng glance was different than usual, it was more soft.. "recover quickly.." He held onto Cale's hand.

"..." Blade sat silently next to Cale. Always keeping his eyes on him, never apart.

"If only I was there to protect you, you would not be so hurt, my goddess..." Argenti shed a few tears down his cheeks as he prayed for Cale's health.

Jing Yuan did not wear his usual smug smile. "I'm sorry I was late." He was standing beside the bed, looking down to Cale's sleeping body.

Choi Han didn't like it; how careless they were, clueless even! How rude they were, not even giving Cale-nim personal space. He could go on and on but first, he needed to get rid of them, "ahem."

They all looked up one by one, slowly. It wasn't the fake cough that caught their attention, but the excessively large amount of hostility coming from Choi Han.

"My liege would like some personal space. So if you may, please leave." He spoke with a harsh tone, not even sugarcoating any of his words.

There was silence in the air.

Argenti got up from his knees, "I apologize for not thinking first of my indecent and rude actions." He apologized. "Then, I'll be leaving for a bit."

His words irritated Choi Han. Leaving for a bit? Just a bit?! Why don't they leave his liege alone to his peace?!

"We'll be going as well then." The other three also exited the room.

Choi Han closed the door behind and walked closer to where Cale was laid. "Cale-nim, they're gone now."

"Thank you, Choi Han." Cale opened his eyes.

Choi Han could see how anxious Cale was, from his actions to the sweat rolling down his forehead. It made Choi Han worry even more, "Cale-nim, are you alright?" He asked despite knowing his lieges' answer, it was always the same no matter his condition.

"I'm fine."

Just as Choi Han had predicted. Choi Han looked at Cale with worried eyes.

Cale couldn't help but feel awkward, 'stop looking at me like that! I'm really fine!' It was true, he felt fine but he didn't look okay for the least. "You can leave, Choi Han." Cale excused him out.

"Yes Cale-nim.. rest well..." Choi Han closed the door, leaving Cale all alone in the room.

Cale sighed, thinking about all the things that had happened lately.. and all in the span of a few months... 'They'll be leaving soon.. right?...' He just wanted those strangers to leave, every since they arrived, they've made things more complicated.

Creeeeek. The door opened slowly and a head peeked in through the small crack, "oh, you're awake." Jing Yuan opened the door fully, letting himself in. He was holding a bouquet of flowers and a basket of fruit...

'Why's he holding that?...' Cale was feeling anxious about this.

"Good morning." Jing Yuan placed the items down on the nightstand, pulled a chair over and sat down next to him. "How are you feeling?" He smiled.

"Good morning..." Cale was wary of him. "I'm feeling fine."

His eyes grew sharp, "are you sure? It seemed that it happens quite a lot." Jing Yuan had noticed back then when Cale had just suddenly fainted on the spot, no one was too fazed; only looks filled with worry.
