FLIRT-FLIRT ON DUTY

So here they were, walking around town, pulling apart fights caused by drunk individuals and greeting old friends or just the ones that had recognized the duo. Nothing out of the ordinary. But... Shadow hasn't said a word to Sonic after they left his brother's house.

Sonic sighed and crossed his arms as they turned to a corner, looking over at Shadow.

"What?" Shadow says looking at Sonic. "You've been stealing glances at me since we have left your home, what could you possibly want?" He asks pocketing his gloved hands into his jacket that GUN gave him.

"About earlier..." Sonic started and Shadow quickened his pace to get away from Sonic.

"No, we're not talking about that." Shadow was quick to avoid.

"Why don't you want to talk about it?" Sonic ran after him and grabbed him by the arm. Shadow turned, glared at him, and then looked away.

"Release me..." He whispered.

"Why Shadow?" Sonic says, his tone rising a bit as Shadow's ear flickered. "I want to know, why?" He demanded with a raised voice.

Shadow's ears folded back making Sonic's eyes widen, and as Shadow realized what he just did, he pulled his arm away and pushed back Sonic as hard as he could.

"Shadow..." Sonic's voice drifted off, his expression softening as he stumbled back and quickly caught himself.

"Shut up." Shadow turned away from the azure Hedgehog.

"Come." Sonic said in a low voice, Shadow's ears perked up and he turned back to the blue speedster, then walked to him. "See... You respond to me, why is that Shadow?"

"No, it's because you're a Dom. I was doing just fine until you started saying things that affect me- No. My Dynamics... Yeah, that's it..." Shadow growled. "Stay away from me."

Sonic crossed his arms and stood straight, tapping his foot.

"Shadow." Sonic says with a huff. Shadow looks up at him and then turns away, as Sonic takes his hand and pulls Shadow into a hug. "I'm sorry."

Shadow just froze and didn't bother pushing Sonic away as he huffed, then nuzzles into Sonic's chest breathing in his scent.

"Shadow? Sonic?"

The two quickly pulled apart when they heard the voice and a their faces lit up as soon as they do.
