3: No hype .. just me

I looked down at my notebook before looking at the boy . He had a smooth caramel skin and his hair was made into cornrows. He was breath taking and I noticed that it wasn't only me that realized it .
"Can you introduce your self" the teacher Mrs turner said .
He faced the class " I'm Tione Smith and I'm new here as y'all know " he said. His voice was smooth I haven't heard one like that in a while.
"Well get a seat " Mrs Turner said
I did not look at where he sat and I didn't care . I just wanted to get this over with. I checked my phone for the time 'eight fourty ?' kill me .
We continued with the class and I wasn't paying attention until the teacher noticed " Chloé, at which stage of mitosis does the chromosomes line up at the middle of the cell?"
Wait what me ?!  I raised an eyebrow at her she can't be serious.
"The prophase" I said boldly waiting for her to back of
"Yes?" She said again
"It's the metaphase, prophase is when the chromosomes shorten and thicken" a voice said
I turned to where the voice came from . And there was it Tione Smith the new guy that hasn't even gotten his tail checked. I glared at him . He didn't even hold my gaze .
" Thank you.. Tione " Mrs Turner said "class is over make sure to study this again" she said as everyone stepped out.
As I walked out of the class I froze hearing my name
"You had the liver to do that to the Chloé Thompson" a voice said
"Do what? like who even is she ?" Another said I recognized it to be Tione's voice
"You better be greatful that she's having the same classes as us she's a literal goddess" the voice said before stepping out. It was a boy who I've never seen before like do I even know half my grade ? I thought.
"Hey " he said as his cheeks flushed
I didn't answer. I walked into the class "you know for some new you really have an edge" I Sade cocking my head to the side.
"So you're The Chloé Thompson? " he said as he carried his books.
I rolled my eyes at him . Coming closer I realized how tall he was probably 6'4 .
I pointed an accusing finger at him " I don't see you as a threat but if you've not been told yet, I rule this school this is my turf don't try to carve a way for yourself".
I said touching his chest Boy he's ripped.  He grabbed my finger
" Don't touch me.. ever " he said before pushing it away. My face flushed in anger 'like who in the hell does he think he is '
I walked out of the class angrily as I joined the others at my locker .
Layla was the first to notice my mood " what happened? " She said I rolled my eyes before opening my locker.  " Nothing just some drama in class " I said
. Margot tapped me gently " we were just talking about this party at the weekend .. Ria's hosting it at her house it's going to be lit" she said
I nodded before applying another coat of lipgloss on my lips .
"Of course" I said as I ran my hand through my hair.
"Class B3 for lunch with the jocks ?" Margot said as she brought out her phone.
" Yeah and you'll probably see Jakey , Chloé" Layla said nudging me gently.
I rolled my eyes shutting my locker
Jake was the captain of the football team who has had his eyes on me from the last semester. Everyone in the school practically saw us to get her the power couple.
But Jake wasn't really my type he was loud , a simp and only cared about himself
" Can't wait " I muttered loud enough for them to hear.
When we arrived at class B3 which wasn't a functioning class room anymore because it has been converted to a dinning room for the most popular seniors and I yes it was exclusive.
"Aye that's my girl " Jake said when he spotted me . I cringed internally knowing how many other cheerleaders he must have said that to .
He excused himself from his group which he was chatting with and walked up to me.
He was literally the dream. Boys wanted to be him and girls wanted to be with him well except me . He had no idea yet.
"I can only imagine us together" he said. Keyword 'imagine' .
I faked a smile at him as I spotted Ria making love signs at us .
I rolled my eyes praying for this one sided Convo to get over with.
" So when am I going to take you on a date " he said
" Never " I busted out
Everyone looked at me at the sudden outburst.
I regained my compusure "yes , Jake I'm never dating you and your selfish simp self ." I said
The room felt silent .
"You'll pay for this " Jake said angrily.
