Wei Ying was starting to get a little frustrated, he had gone back to the inn that him and the rest of the Jiang clan were going to stay at, until they found out that Jin Zixuan had booked the entire inn and threw them out. He scoffed at the memory, walking back to cloud reassess.' What an arrogant peacock'. He thought to himself." Jiang Cheng the invitations aren't anywhere-". He stopped in his tracks, seeing no one was there.

He figured that they had somehow managed to enter the Cloud Recesses and had simply not warned him about it. He remembered that the entrance had a barrier, but he could easily break it and enter, which was what he did, and then proceeded to walk up the stairs just to see that there was a wall standing in the way. He climbed it, although with some difficulty, and stopped to catch his breath once he was on top, but he suddenly felt another presence around him, he looked around and almost fell back from shock upon seing the second Young Master Lan." Goodness, Lan Wangji, you gave me quite the startle". Said Wei Ying as he stood up straight to greet the Young Master." No entry after curfew". Said Lan Wangji." Alcohol is prohibited at Cloud reassess". Said Lan Wangji as he noticed the jars of emperor's smile." Ah, Lan Zhan, I'm just looking for my siblings". Said Wei Ying, Lan Zhan's eyes widened just the slightest bit, at hearing his birth name, no one had called him that ever, not even his brother.

But he quickly snapped out of it." Two violations, must be punished". Wei Ying sighed." Lan Zhan, are you really that inflexible? Can't you let me off just this once?". Pleaded Wei Ying. Lan Zhan didn't seem to budge, he walked over to Wei Ying and grabbed him, dragging him to heaven knows where." Hey, Lan Zhan, let me go, come on, I didn't know". Whined Wei Ying in hopes that the Young Master would let him go, but he kept dragging him, and before Wei Ying knew it he was being thrown on the ground." Wangji? What is happening?". Asked Lan Xichen, Lan Zhan's older brother." He broke two violations". Answered Lan Zhan." Clan leader Lan, Grand Master Lan, I'm Wei Ying, from the Jiang Clan, I didn't mean to break the rules, I'm new to the rules of Gusu, and just wanted to check on my siblings, but this fuddy duddy wouldn't even let me". Said Wei Ying as he pointed to Lan Zhan. Xichen had to resist the urge to laugh at the nickname his little brother had received from the Young Master.

Lan Zhan on the other hand, although only visible to Xichen, seemed quite surprised and bewildered at what he had just been called." Young Master Wei, althought you are indeed new to the rules, I can't let you off without a punishment, tomorrow you will have to transcribe the rules of the Lan Clan, but I'm going easy on you because you didn't mean to". Said Lan Xichen, Lan Qiren sighed, agreeing with Xichen." By the way, Young Master Wei, your siblings are safe, Lan Wangji let them in". Said Xichen, Wei Ying's eyes widened, he walked up Infront of Xichen." Lan Zhan let them in?". Asked Wei Ying.

Xichen had a small Playfull smile as he looked at Lan Zhan and saw his face, he looked so betrayed, Xichen stifled a laugh as he looked back at Wei Ying and nodded with the same playful smile." So you're not that inflexible, Lan Zhan why didn't you say something you fuddy duddy". Said Wei Ying in a teasing manner, smiling playfully at Lan Zhan as he skipped over to the flustered looking Young Master, he remained his cold facade and didn't reply to Wei Ying's teasing." Young Master Wei, how about you go rest for the night?". Said Lan Qiren as he finally spoke, catching the Younger Master and the Young leader of the Lan Clan's attention." Yes, I'll go". Said Wei Ying as he bowed to Xichen and Qiren, he then turned to Lan Zhan and smile cheekily." Bye Lan Zhan". He said before turning around and rushing to his room." Uncle, me and Wangji will go too, you should rest to, it's been a long day". Said Xichen as he turned to his uncle and bowed, Lan Zhan doing the same before walking out with his older brother.

" Wangji". Lan Zhan turned to his brother, ready to listen." This Young Master Wei, he's quite different don't you think?". Said Xichen with a small smile." He's, trouble". Answered Lan Zhan, causing his older brother to smile." I meant, he called you, by your birth name Wangji". Said Xichen as he turned to face his younger brother. Lan Zhan didn't respond but Xichen, having taken care of his little brother for the better part of his life, could easily read him, he could feel how flustered he was feeling because of the Young Master Wei." Wangji, there are a lot of disciples that are here for the guest lectures, maybe you could make some friends, that Young Master Wei seems nice, he may be a little excessive, but he is fun and witty". Said Xichen, Wangji slightly turned his head towards Xichen to look at him, confused as to why his older brother liked Wei Ying this much, but decided to not question it.

They walked quietly to make sure that nobody was outside during curfew, and went to their respective rooms to also sleep.
