'Paired' - Korrasami

KORRA

Korra groaned ignoring her alarm...and snoozed it..fast asleep

BEEP BEEP BEEP

She finally Wakes up and checks the time 7:00!?!? "IM LATE!!!!" She yells
. Wasting no time she goes to get dressed and brushes her teeth.
Apperantly she skips breakfast.

She runs as fast as she could... finally she arrives at school, she sprints trying to find her class for first period

As soon as Korra walks in the chattering across the room turned into an awkward silence "Korra. Your late"
Miss beifong says "sorry it won't happen again miss beifong" Korra said
Scratching her neck "you can take your seat now." Miss beifong gestures
Korra nods and head over to a empty seat. Korra couldn't focus on the lesson she was too tired.

<RINGGGGGGGG>
The bell rang.

All the students across the room makes their way out of the class except for that one girl... Asami sato.

Korra shrugs and made her way out of the classroom. While walking "Korra!!"
Someone calls I turned my head by surprise it was kuvira my best friend
"Oh hey kuvi" my lips curved into a smile.
"So uhh what's up?" I asked
Kuvira
"Coach lin beifong asked me to look for you she has something to say" kuvira says calmly.
"Alright I'll be there at her office just let me grab something.." I said smiling.
"Okay.. we'll meet at lunch later?"
She asked
"Sure" I replied with the same smile on my face.

I finally walked in to our coach's office
"Do you need anything coach?" I muffle.
"Why yes.." she replies
"I'm making you the captain of our football team..don't make me regret this decision" she said.
My eyes widened and i was so happy I pulled out a stupid smile
"Really!?, I won't let you down coach!" I saluted.
She chuckles and congrats me.
Soon I left her office filled with joy.

I was on a rush realizing I'm almost late for science class before I knew it I bumped into someone. And lost my balance causing both of me and the person to fall . I open my eyes by surprise it was asami the smartest girl on my class. I didn't realize I was pinning her down to the floor..I layed eyes on here greenish eye we made eye contact it didn't last long since she looked away "can you stand up now please.." she mumbled.

"Right,right ,sorry.." i stood up and made my way in the classroom thank the spirits I wasn't late..

Soon enough miss su beifong arrives
. The chattering ends and turned into silence.

"Today class you'll be having a project. I'll give you guys 4 weeks to finish it.
In this project you'll have to visit places and write how nature works..this project will give you 20 points direct to the card!.

I heard everyone groan except me and kuvira,asami.

Soon as I expected a student raised his hand Baatar jr. "Can we please do it on pairs ma'am?". He asked.

"Sure. I'll write a list of all of you students partners, and no switching partners." Miss su said in a serious tone. Soon miss su continues to teach.

Miss su taped the list on the blackboard of who's is whose partners
I checked who my partner was.. to my surprise it was... Asami.. not bad I guess.

Someone tapped my shoulder I turn my head it was asami.
"What do you need?" I mumbled
"We're partners on the project."
She mumbled back
"I know.." I scratched my neck.

There was an awkward silence which didn't last long...

"Do you know some places?" I asked asami.
"Uh...yeah..?" It's was an obvious lie
Asami is bad at lying.
"Your lying aren't you?" I chuckled.
"Fine.."she admits her cheeks heating up.
"I'll make the list you write" I said confidently as my lips curved into a smirk.

<RINGGGGGGG>

oh shit! History class is starting!!
"I gotta go!" I rushed. I realized asami and I were together on all our classes so I didn't hesitate to grab her hand and run towards our classroom. She was quite surprised.

We made it on time..that was exhausting.
"Th-thank you.. Korra" asami whispered.
"No problem" I said as I walked in and head to a empty seat.

Soon enough our teacher came in and started teaching his lessons. I gazed at the window zoning out... For awhile until. "Korra, Korra!" Our professor called me. I gasped "y-yes..?" .
"Are you even listening to what I'm teaching!?" He said furiously.
"Sorry professor..".
