Jin stood outside Jungkook's office, nerves coursing through him like an electric current. He took a deep breath, trying to steady his trembling hands before approaching Jungkook's secretary.

"Hi, is Jungkook hyung in his office?" Jin asked, his voice betraying his nervousness.

The secretary, who had grown accustomed to Jin's frequent visits, smiled warmly at him.

"Hello Jin, Jeon is currently in a meeting but it's about to end you can wait. . I'm sure he'll be happy to see you."

Jin returned the smile gratefully, feeling a small sense of reassurance. "Thanks," he replied, .

As he pushed open the door of waiting lobby and stepped inside, Jin couldn't shake the flutter of anticipation in his chest. He knew that facing Jungkook wouldn't be easy, but he was determined to make things right.

Jin took a seat in the waiting lobby, his heart pounding with anticipation as he waited for Jungkook to finish his meeting. The soft hum of the air conditioning filled the room, but Jin's mind was racing with thoughts of what he would say to Jungkook when he finally saw him.

Minutes felt like hours as Jin anxiously tapped his foot, his nerves getting the best of him. He tried to calm his racing thoughts, reminding himself to stay composed and collected when Jungkook emerged from his meeting.

Finally, the door to Jungkook's office opened, and Jin's heart skipped a beat as he caught sight of Jungkook approaching. He rose from his seat, his pulse quickening

Jungkook's eyes locked with Jin's through the glass door of the waiting room, and in that fleeting moment, a world of unspoken emotions passed between them. Despite the tension in the air, Jin couldn't suppress the glimmer of hope that surged within him as he beheld Jungkook's familiar face.

Drawing in a deep breath, Jin steeled himself for whatever awaited, his resolve firm to mend the bond with the man he cherished.

However, Jungkook abruptly exchanged a few words with his secretary before swiftly departing. Jin's heart raced as he hurriedly made his way toward Jungkook's secretary,

"Can I go to his office?" Jin asked, his voice tinged with anticipation.

The secretary hesitated for a moment before responding, a hint of sympathy in her tone.
"I'm afraid the answer is no. Because Mr. Jeon said he don't want to see yo- ,... Mmhh anyone at the moment."

Jin's heart sank at the secretary's words, his hopes dashed in an instant. He struggled to maintain his composure, his eyes burning with unshed tears as he absorbed the reality of Jungkook's rejection.

Jin felt a lump form in his throat as he struggled to contain the wave of emotions threatening to overwhelm him. He bowed his head, unable to meet the secretary's gaze.

"Oh," Jin murmured softly, his voice barely above a whisper.

As he turned to leave, the secretary hesitated, seeing the anguish written all over Jin's face.
"Wait,"
she said softly, reaching out a hand to gently touch his arm.
"Mr. Jeon may not want to see anyone right now, but that doesn't mean he won't change his mind later. Give him some time, Jin. I'm sure he'll come around."

Jin looked up at her, his eyes filled with gratitude for her kindness. "Thank you," he murmured, offering her a small, watery smile.

Jin waited patiently, minutes stretching into hours as he kept his vigil. With each passing moment, his anticipation grew, yet Jungkook remained oblivious to his presence, walking past him without a glance as he headed towards the elevator.
