Hj broke the kiss, his forehead resting against Felix's. They both panted, chests heaving like bellows. A raw vulnerability flickered in Felix's eyes, a silent question that mirrored the tangle of emotions churning in Hj's gut.

"Hyunjin," Felix breathed, voice husky. "This..." he trailed off, searching for the words.

Hj tucked a stray strand of hair behind Felix's ear, the touch sending shivers down Felix's spine. "This will change things? Yeah,I know" Hj murmured, his voice thick with unspoken desire.

Felix closed his eyes, leaning into Hj's touch. "Maybe," he whispered, a shy smile playing on his lips.

The charged silence stretched between them, a million unspoken possibilities swirling in the air. The midnight moon streamed through the window, casting long shadows across the room, highlighting the dust motes dancing in the white light. Suddenly, the doorknob rattled, sending a jolt through them. The stupid lock never worked right.

The door creaked open a sliver, revealing Haera's perfectly manicured nails clinging to the knob. Her gaze darted between them, taking in their flushed faces and close proximity. A flicker of surprise, quickly masked by a sugary-sweet smile, crossed her features.

"Oh hey, Felix! Didn't expect to see you here," Haera chirped, her voice laced with a false cheer. Her eyes then flicked back to Hj, a pointed glint in them. "Hyunjin, what's going on?"

Hj's jaw clenched, the unexpected intrusion shattering the intimate moment. He forced a smile that didn't reach his eyes. "Nothing, Haera. Just... catching up with Felix. And that's none of your business"

Haera's smile faltered slightly, a flicker of something akin to suspicion crossing her features. She cast another suspicious glance between them, lingering a beat too long on their hands, which were still tangled together. "None of my business? And catching up, huh?" she drawled, her voice dripping with something that wasn't quite sweetness. "Well, don't let me interrupt your little reunion."

"Actually," Hj started, his voice low, "we were kind of in the middle of something."

Haera's eyes narrowed. The playful facade seemed to slip for a moment, replaced by a flash of anger. "In the middle of what, exactly?" she spat, her voice sharp.

Felix bristled at her tone, but before he could retort, Hj stepped forward, placing a hand on his chest in a silent show of protectiveness.

"That's enough, Haera," Hj said, his voice firm. "You got nothing to do here, so it'd be better if you leave. And maybe try knocking next time, cuz God has given you those paws to do that"

Haera's jaw clenched, and a flicker of something akin to fear flickered in her eyes. She seemed to register the possessiveness in Hj's stance and the silent understanding between him and Felix. With a forced laugh, she took a step back.

"Right," she scoffed. "See you later then, lovebirds." Her voice dripped with sarcasm as she slammed the door shut behind her.

The sound echoed in the tense silence, but after a moment, Hj let out a shaky breath. He turned to Felix, a sheepish grin on his face. "Sorry about that."

"It's not your fault," Felix said, his voice softer now. "She's just..."

"A bitch who's a pain in the ass?" Hj finished, a smile playing on his lips. He reached out, tucking a loose strand of hair behind Felix's ear. Their eyes met, and the spark that had ignited before Haera's interruption flared anew.

This time, there was no hesitation. Hj leaned in, drawn to Felix like a moth to a flame. Their lips met in a kiss that was both desperate and tender, fueled by unspoken emotions and the frustration of Haera's constant interference. The kiss deepened, a delicious exploration of heat and desire. Hj's hand trailed down Felix's back, sending shivers cascading down his spine.

A muffled thump from downstairs jolted them apart. They both broke away, panting slightly, a mixture of exhilaration and guilt washing over them.

(Btw they live on the 3rd floor. Just so you know;) )

"Movie night?" Felix asked, his voice hoarse.

Hj glanced at the door, then back at Felix. Haera's presence loomed large, even in her absence. He sighed.

"Yeah," he said finally, the word heavy in the air. "Movie night."
