Time passes, and Rory and all her friends have finished eating and have gone left to change out of their costumes, leaving just you, Charles, your mum, and dad at the table still eating.
I find myself cuddling up to Charles, seeking warmth and comfort in his embrace amidst the cool evening air. Suddenly, excitement fills the air as Rory and her friends rush back outside, eager to grab their bikes. Rory and bells running over to us telling where they are going then running to the garage to retrieve their bikes while the others join them, ready for a bike ride around the city and to the beach. With laughter and chatter, they all make their way out of the gate, embarking on their adventure, leaving behind a sense of joy and energy in their wake."Anyone want a slice of cake" my mum offers
"Duh why would I say no" I giggle with Charles agreeing. Sitting there cuddled up against Charles we peacefully enjoy our chocolate cake savouring the moments of sun together.
"Well, time to clean up," my mum announces, but I quickly interject with a smile. "Don't be silly, Mum, I'll do it. You and Dad should rest." Standing up I start grabbing paper plates into one pile.
"Yeah, I'll help her. You guys relax," Charles chimes in, offering his assistance. Getting up behind me.
As my mum stands up, she mentions, "Do you mind if your dad and I pop out? We'd like to go see Peter and Marijke." Pushing her chair away picking up the cake.
"Of course not. Go ahead, and I'll keep an eye on the kids if they're back before you," I respond reassuringly following them into the house. The house now has just been left to me and Charles but the main thing is to clean up.
Charles and I are now cleaning up, gathering all the plates and utensils and carrying them into the house, into the kitchen. Together, we tackle the cleaning, washing up the dishes and tidying the kitchen. Playing the music from the speaker which I made Charles bring inside.
Once the cleaning is done, i find myself sitting on the kitchen counter, and Charles standing between my legs. I Wrap my arms around his neck, and pull him closer, enjoying the closeness. Looking up at Charles, i ask softly, "Do you want to stay tonight?" With a big smile on my face.
"Of course, darling. I want to spend as much time with you as possible," Charles responds warmly, his affection evident in his words.*Ding*
I receive a text from my mum.
"We will be back around 8, love. Is that okay? xx"
I quickly reply, "Yeah, of course. No rush. Take your time. xx"
Smiling at my phone, I then call my sister to check on their plans and how they are.
"Hey, what time will you and Bells be back and where are you guys?" I inquire.
"Maybe in an hour and a half, and we're just near Jennifer's house her older brother is Alejandro" Rory responds.
"Okay, have fun, and be careful," I say before hanging up the phone, feeling reassured about their whereabouts.
Smirking at Charles, I remark, "We have the house to ourselves for an hour or so." The air between us crackles with anticipation, laden with unspoken promises. "Perfect," he barely gets out before leaning in to kiss me eagerly. His lips are insistent, sparking a fire within me that I hadn't realized had been smoldering. "Let's go upstairs instead," I suggest, my voice a murmur against his mouth. Taking Charles's hand, I lead him through the house, our steps quick with a shared urgency.
Arriving in my room, Charles pulls me on top of him, and we continue making out and getting closer, crossing thresholds we hadn't dared to before. The world outside my room ceases to exist, leaving only the two of us in our bubble of newfound intimacy.getting heated and heated. As we lay together afterwards, Charles's hand gently brushes through my hair, sending shivers down my spine. "That was the best time ever," Charles moans out, his hand moving across my chest in a gesture so tender it makes my heart swell. "Mine too," I reply, showering him with kisses all over his body and face, marking this moment as a cherished memory.
