-You head back downstairs and notice your sister in the pool with her friends, the water shimmering under the midday sun.

With a mischievous grin, you leap into the pool next to your sister, sending waves of water cascading in all directions, much to her surprise.

"YN!" Rory shouts amidst laughter, the joyous sound echoing through the air as you both revel in the playful moment.

Charles hesitates, perched on the pool's edge, but Rory is quick to intervene, grabbing his arm and playfully tugging him towards the water.
"Charles, I don't think so," Rory teases, pulling him further into the pool's embrace, her laughter infectious.
Joining in the fun, you agree with Rory, grabbing Charles's other arm and urging him into the refreshing water.

With a good-natured chuckle, Charles relents, succumbing to the playful atmosphere as he splashes water at you, the sunlight dancing on the surface of the pool, creating a scene of pure joy and camaraderie.

You exchange a knowing glance with your sister, recognizing the mischief in her eyes as she signals to her friends with a smirk. In an instant, her friends catch on, launching a coordinated assault of splashes in your direction, soaking you and Charles to the bone. "RORY!" you and Charles both exclaim in unison, a mix of surprise and laughter in your voices. Ignoring your protests, Rory erupts into fits of laughter, joined by her friends, as you and Charles find yourselves thoroughly drenched but unable to contain your own laughter at the unexpected turn of events.

As time passes, your sister and her friends transition to playful antics in the garden, drying off as the scent of food wafts through the air, signaling that dinner is almost ready. You recline on a lilo floatie in the pool, enjoying the gentle sway of the water as Charles playfully pushes you around, the warmth of the sun kissing your skin. Drifting to the center of the pool, you pause, gazing fondly at Charles, envisioning a sweet moment between you two.
Suddenly, Charles mischievously tips your floatie, causing you to splash into the water, momentarily submerged before resurfacing.
Surprised but not deterred, you playfully grab hold of Charles, the water glistening on your skin as you give him a mock scolding. Charles breaks into laughter, insisting it was all in jest, before leaning in to give you a playful kiss, the warmth of his lips against yours melting away any lingering annoyance as you both share a moment of affection amidst the playful chaos. Breaking from the kiss you splash water on Charles and quickly swim away before he could get you

Your dad emerges once again to tend to the final items on the barbecue, prompting you and Charles to exit the pool. While Charles heads off to assist your dad, you lay back on a sun lounger, relishing the warmth of the sun as you dry off. Arabella, affectionately known as Bells, joins you, draping her towel around her as she settles at the end of your chair to grab a drink. Catching your gaze fixed on Charles, Bells playfully smacks your leg and teases, "Ooo YN."
"What? He's perfect," you retort with a grin, defending your admiration for Charles. "Awe, I'm happy for you, girl," Bells responds, her smile reflecting genuine happiness for you. "Thank you, kiddo. That's why you're my second little sister," you reply warmly, watching as she scampers off to rejoin the others, a sense of familial love enveloping you in the moment. Enjoying the sun beaming against me I can't help but admire Charles and my dads bond knowing this fulfils my heart and is making Charles happy.

Charles returns to find me lounging on the sun lounger, and he immediately joins me, wrapping his arms around me in a warm embrace. As I play with his hair, I remark on how endearing it is to see him interact with my family, a genuine smile playing on your lips.

"Foods ready!" My mum's voice echoes through the garden, signaling that dinner is served, while my dad proudly places the cake on the table. With excitement, everyone gathers around the table, finding their seats as the aroma of delicious food fills the air. I opt to sit on Charles's lap to make room for the rest of Rory's friends. As the birthday girl, Rory, takes her place at the head of the table, we all join in singing "Happy Birthday" to her, laughter and joy filling the air. With the birthday festivities over, we all eagerly dig into the sumptuous meal, enjoying the warmth of family and friendship that surrounds you.
