The boulder went right through her. I swam over to her. I shake her and start to say "Wake up right now, Wake up. Synthia please" I say worried. Then she starts to laugh like she was mad like a mad scientist, mad. "You should have seen your face niko. It was sooooo funny" she says trying to control her laughing. "Wait, how did you know you weren't going to die?" I said confused, "Oh right, um, well... when I went through the portal I went through a boulder so I thought I might prank you and well it was very funny." she said "You mean that you did not actually faint" I say a little annoyed. "Noooooooooooo..." we get suck out the portal and we are UNDERGROUND! Synthia and I are at least in the same spot this time. "Synthia when did you change?" "What are you talking about? And when did YOU change?" We switched clothes, she was in a crop top and a skirt with fishnets ( she would never wear this before) and I was wearing gray sweatpants and a sweater (I would never ever wear this if I chose what to wear.)

"Wooooow '' we both say as we are teleported to a school in a fancy car. "Vintage" synthia said with a surprised look on her face "What?" I say, confused. "Yeah you know, like a 1956 ford thunderbird" synthia says with a smile on her face. "Niko" someone called out to me. Confused, I said "yes (noticing that it is a dude) bro" "Are you going to the dance with Synthia '' they knew Synthia too. I'm so confused because this looks like a high school and not a middle school and we are definitely not in Zolkoly any more. "Yes, when is it again?" I say. "You Seriously do not remember" he says while he pulls out a flier that says, when: 9/29/2007 where:at the high school, time:6:00pm. "When is the 29th again?" I say, not knowing what today is. "It's in two days, are you ok?" He said, sounding a little concerned "Thanks!" I said pretending I know him. I turn to Synthia, and she says "So we're going to a dance" "I guess so?" I say " Wait Niko! Are we supposed to go home in the body's we are in, houses by the end of the day?" Synthia says, kinda worried. "I don't know." I reached into my jacket pocket and found that I had an IPhone. I turn on the phone, and surprisingly it opens with a face ID. Crazily, Synthia had pockets in her skirt; so she checked her pockets, and she had a phone too. The phone started ringing. Synthia picked it up, and a girl said "Hey besty! How are you?" "Heeeeeeey...'' Synthia said. The girl said, "Can I come to your house today after school?" "Yes; but can you drive me?" Synthia said, assuming that she lived far enough away to drive. The girl answered and said "Wait! Can't you drive us home?" "No. I came with Niko.'' Synthia said, hoping the girl knew me. I mean everyone else does. "Hey Niko! Come here!" the one kid who asked if I was taking Synthia to the dance called out. "What?!" I called out, kinda irritated. "Do not talk to zion like that" zions buddy said "im sorry zion i'm just just kinda irritated i'm really sorry" I say with a sweeter voice. "No worries," Zion says with a smile on his face. I found out that me and Zion have every class together.

That night I lay in bed and I called synthia on the phone I have. Then that same glowy portal sucks me in. "aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!" I yell , not knowing what is happening. "Why am I on a fuc..." "Hey do not say that" synthia said cutting me off. 'Sorry and how are you evean here on this mountain." I told synthia "but first, who is that?" I asked. Synthia answered " thats zion" zion turned around "no way?!" I said with disbelief in my voice "Wait how is he even here synthia" I say "Well, we were together and um... the portal came and took us both too." synthia says. Zion spoke up and said "Umm... Guys , I need to tell you guys something...so, un, how am I suppose to say this, well you guys know that one kid from your school the only middle school in Zolkoly well..." " stop" I say interrupting him "You are zion, the zion that whent missing two years ago.'' I can't believe this. "Hey can we just figure out why we are on a mountain please" synthia said. I look down and then I see a rock with writing on it "Synthia look behind you there is a rock" synthia looks behind her and she starts reading it.

Zion yells "Whooooooa!, whats happening" "what?" I see zion amd he is turning in to a hedgehog, and I see a swirling glowing thing rap around me and I turn into a mole and synthia turns into drorf mongoose. Synthia yells "Why are we all underground animals" "wait we can go underground." zion says and starts to go underground.me and snthia follow him.

We get like two hours deep into the ground and I say "I got to go back up Im tired" so we head up back up. When we got back up there, there was monkey. "What the heck" zion said. synthia siad "Well great guess we going with the monkeys" "what, why on earth would we go with them" me and zion say. Synthia comes to us and whispers "since they are monkeys they are going to go down from were we are and then we can escape somewhere on the way down and we can dig our way to the ground and maybe we can get to where we have to go" "hey lets go" one of the monkeys says in a deep voice. "ok " me and synthia siad. Then zion jumped off of the mountain. And me and synthia jumped too."Zion why would you jump like this" I yell "Well to getvaway from the monkeys" he yells. Synthia yells "We are almost at the bottom of the..." "Why are we still with the monkeys" synthia says. "Jump." I yell. "Why" zion said "just go" synthia said we jump off again and again and again and again. Finally when we came back up from falling one of the monkeys said "would you stop jumping. You are just going to keep on ending up on the top of the mountain, thats how it works here" "yes please im getting tire of jumping" zion and synthia said. "fine" I say. Then I start climbing down the mountain. "Wait for us" synhia yells" and they sart to climb. "Stop" I say "I think they satrted to go donw the hill"

we wait then go back up and they aren't there. Zion says "um guys I think that it is going to rain" and as soon he ended that setace t starts to rain. "Go in the the hole" synthia yells. " no, we need to find a cave we will just get sick" then synthia starts to say something but that glowy ting happened an we turned back into humans again. We run down the mountain. "I found a cave" after she said that I was relieved because it felt forever. But we ran into the cave. I start to walk further into the cave and... "Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah" I yell as I trip over a rock. As my face hit the ground I saw paper. "Ow" I say. Synthia and zion both say "Are you ok?" "yes i'm ok" I say "Hey synthia do you think that this paper is a clue" I say picking the paper up. She looks at it and she yells happily "It a map, a partial map." "Wow thats so cool, wait why would we need a map any way?" zion said. "Hey it looks like the rain has slowed down a little. Im going to see if it is raining or sprinkling" i say. "Ok" zion said. I go out and cheak. It was still raining. So i go back in but I thought i hard a banch crack. So I ask "Hey guys did you hear that?" "No" zion said. Right synthia "No" "ok" i say a little worried.
