Me and Ava are sitting in her room she was busy applying make-up on her face.

I couldn't help myself staring at her, "you don't even need to put on make-up you're truly beautiful even without all those cosmetica on your face"

Ava turns away from her mirror looking at me, "you really think so?" She asks her amber eyes sparkling

I nod staring at her.

She puts down her make-up brush, and walks over to her bed where I was sitting on. "Don't you miss your parents?" She asks carefully seating down beside me.

I shrug, "not really I'm actually glad they are out of my life" Ava looks at me with sympathy.

"Mom told me about your mom being an addict"

I sigh, "I want to forget my old life" Ava grabs my hand, "okay then I'll stop with the questions." She softly smiles at me.

"Are you going on a date or something?" I ask chuckling noticing how well dolled up she was.

She shakes her head chuckling, "no just out with friends, hey why don't you come along"

"I- um... I don't know..."

"Please, I promise you it's going to be fun" she keeps insisting.

"Okay, I guess I can come along.." i eventually give in.

"Yayy, let's get going!" She grabs my hand and starts running out of her room dragging me along.

Ava is bicycling with me on the back of her bike, Jeremy and Ruth thought it was a wonderful idea Ava took me along with her friends.

We arrive at a huge Villa seeing lots of people I look at Ava who gives me a reassuring smile. "Come on let's go party!"

I follow behind her, "Ava...I thought we were going out with your friends..." I faltered feeling a bit nervous.

Ava stops for a moment turning to me, "alright I wasn't completely honest with you, we're actually going to a party" she admitted still that smile on her face.

I nod, "I've never been at a party before.... what do I do?"

Ava chuckles, "just enjoy yourself" she winks before she ran off and disappeared into a huge crowd of teenagers.

I decide to follow her and squeeze myself into the crowd trying to keep up with Ava.

"Excuse me" I mumble squeezing in the crowd more and more.

I see Ava running over to a small group of girls, they greet each other with a hug.

Getting over to them Ava introduced me to them. "This is Skye, she never has been at a party before, she's the new member of my family"

"Hi" I greet holding my hand up sounding nervous

Ava's friends smile at me, "hi Skye do you want a drink?" One of them a dark brown long wavy haired girl asks handing me a glass full of something that smelled like alcohol.

I look at the liquid in the glass, "um...no thanks I don't drink" I decline the drink.

"Why not, are you scared?" Another one a light ash brown medium haired girl looks at me with a teasing smirk. Her hazel eyes boring into my eyes.

I once again look at the liquid, "I'm not scared I just I made a promise to myself to never ever touch any alcohol" I respond quite confident causing the girl to lose her smirk.

"That's okay, hope you won't refuse to dance as well" Ava puts her arm around my shoulder squeezing me while giving me a wink.

"Um...I don't know how to dance.." I stammered.

"Well I'm sure half of the people here don't know how to dance but still they dance, they dance like a group of monkeys" Ava chuckles.

I can't help to chuckle along at her joke, "I'll lead you just follow okay?" Ava looks at me with those lovely amber eyes of her.

I nod and grab her hand following her over to a spot on the huge floor of the living room of the villa. She keeps holding my hands and leads me along the rhythm of the music. I smile looking at her enjoying dancing with Ava. She keeps looking at me as well, smiling.
