Ben's Dorm 

Ben's POV

I was waiting for Erica to show up because she actually decided to come over to my dorm so yeah... I was still waiting and it has been 10 minutes and I was getting worried so I grabbed my phone to text Erica but as soon as I did there was a knock at the door. 

B:Who is it?

E: It is me Ben.

B: The door is open

E: Thanks for letting me come over 

B: No problem

"So what did you want to talk about?" I asked staring into her big blue beautiful eyes. Wait what did I just think?? "I just wanted to vent about basically everything." she said "Ok" I said and with that she just started sobbing.

Erica: I can't believe he did this to me, Ben. I thought he loved me.

Ben: Hey, hey, it's alright. I'm here for you. You don't deserve to be treated like this.

Erica: But why? What did I do wrong? Wasn't I enough for him?

Ben: No, no, it's not your fault. Sometimes people just... they don't see what's right in front of them. You're amazing, and anyone would be lucky to have you.

Erica: sniffles I don't know how I'm going to get through this. It hurts so much.

Ben: I know, I know. But you're strong. You've got me, and I'm not going anywhere. We'll get through this together, okay?

Erica: Thank you, Ben. I don't know what I'd do without you.

Ben: You don't have to do anything alone. I'll be here for you, always.

Erica: leans on Ben's shoulder I'm so grateful for you. You're the best friend anyone could ever ask for.

That last sentence kind of hurt but I don't know why. 

Erica: Ben I know you are having a hard time with this as well 

Ben: I am but right now you are my top priority and my feelings can take a chill pill 

She made a small chuckle 

Erica: Well since I am the top priority I want to hear your feelings 

Ben: Fine

Ben: Erica I am really struggling. Nothing is good about my life anymore without her she was amazing and she stayed amazing for 10 fucking years. And honestly who throws away a 10 year relationship. I thought she was the one for me. I even had a plan to propose after this year I even have the ring. And I know that it sounds a little outlandish to propose to someone in collage but up until now i didn't care

 Erica: Wow I didn't even realize how much you are hurting

Ben: Well like I said I want to make sure you are happy because My priorities go: My Family, My Friends, My Education, My job that I will eventually get and then Me.

Erica: You really are and amazing guy you know that

As she said this she was looking deep into my eyes and I did the same and then something amazing happened Erica leaned closer to me and then she kissed me and it was a long passionate and soft kiss. As we were kiss all my feeling of sadness hate and fear faded away...
