~Another Two Years Later~

We are not at our field. I haven't even seen Angela all day.

"Quit fussing and fretting about! Let me adjust your dress properly!" My mom scolded me as she fixed the bow on the back of my dress. She patted down the frilly and lush material too and made sure all the lace flowers were in place perfectly.

I truly felt beautiful.

Today is the day, our day.

I still remember how it all happened... Well, it was only a few days ago.

~flashback~

We're walking around downtown, on a date, to celebrate our four year anniversary. We left our house at around noon and made sure our kittens had food to eat and everything was tidy.

Yes, we live in an apartment together. We have the perfect arrangement too, because the university we go to isn't such a hassle to commute to and our schedules work our pretty well. At first it wasn't all easy but now we both have our (temporary) jobs and are only two years away from getting our diplomas to help us pursue what we really want.

The apartment is a cute little one bedroom with a decent living space and kitchen and dining area, it's perfectly cozy for us to stay in.

Anyways, today was the day we both decided to take off work and hop on the train downtown to explore in honor of our anniversary. Also, the pride parade was not too far from here and we went for a bit to celebrate gay marriage being legalized all over the U.S, but we left after a while for some quality time.

We already went shopping and bought a few things, she went to a jewelry store and I think she bought me an anniversary gift from there since she didn't let me see what she was getting. Right now, we were leaving the Shake Shack we decided to stop and eat in and were wandering in front of the entrance to this huge stadium that's also a tourist attraction for people visiting here. There's a huge screen with a bunch of advertisements that were being shown to anyone walking in front of it.

"Hey Grace..." She grabbed my arm and turned me around to face her.

"Huh? What's wrong?" I asked, getting worried at her tone of voice.

"Well... I just wanted to say that..." She trailed off and my stomach twisted in nervous knots.

"What? Tell me love?" I said, still nervous even though I probably shouldn't be.

"What would I do without your smart mouth?"

"Huh?" I was confused.

"Drawing me in and you kicking me out," She was talking and her voice slowly got melodious, singing to me until I recognized the song as one we dedicated to each other. It was All Of Me by John Legend. "You got my head spinning, no kidding, I can't pin you down."

Somehow music was playing along to her singing and I looked around to see the source only to realize it was coming from that huge screen that had the advertisements, and instead of advertising the next concert it was showing a slideshow of pictures Angela and I have taken throughout the years.. even really old ones.

I was utterly confused and my heart started to skip a beat at the grand gesture because I can't believe she was actually able to do all this just for me.

She got to the chorus and swept me up into her arms so our bodies were close together and she started to pull me around till I realized she was doing an odd version of a waltz/tango to the song while singing.
