Chapter 2

The corridor is full of students chatting, giggling, arguing, laughing and singing. Rocky and I finally got to our lockers, a voice of a big guy from our back said "Ms. Foster and Ms. Adams, how's your weekend huh?"

Rocky answered Brandon with irritation

"We had fun Brandon, and we also have names so don't call us that if you don't want us to call you Baby Brandy."

"OH, hey don't ever call me that!" Brandon and I laughed then Rocky joined.

"Girls gotta go find my baby gurl! See you later!" Brandon said and runs away from us.

He is so crazy and he makes me miss Melt a lot, they're just alike in many ways. Like just calling me weird names and make fun at me.

We're ready to go and find the other girls when this dork guy Chris stop in front of us and being anxious

"Uhm, hey. How's your weekend?"

Rocky said impatiently "Go straight to the point, what do you want?" getting bored before the nonsense conversation started.

I just stare at him and wait and wonder if what bring him to us, he finally speaks "Uhmm... Ashley... Ccccould I-I ask you tonight? At my place? Watch mmmovies? If you're free?"

Oh God. I don't feel like rejecting him but he's so not my level and my reputation is important and I'll do what I have to do,

"I'm so sorry but I have to babysit my brother tonight."

He just bow his head

"I guess next time."

And turns his back and walk but I called him and said

"Chris, I think I'll accept your date next time if you'll never call me Ashley again." He just smiled at me and continues to walk away from us.

"Are you serious? I think you lost your mind. Did you just say that maybe you'll have a boring date with that dork guy? I mean you should never ever have a date with him. It's just so disgusting! He'll make you watch movies in his house instead watching movies in the theater. You are really really crazy. Like what has gotten to your mind? That's the last thing I thought you'll say! Oh my gosh! I wanna hit your head for even thinking about that!"

She always does this long speech whenever she thinks someone's crazy. I just didn't answer her, not wanting to say that I said that so he wouldn't call me Ashley again because honestly it was more than that.

If there would be a chance that I could really date him, I will, coz I would really prefer watching movies in house rather than in theaters. We passed through a big group of freshmen, I walk a little faster than her to avoid her interrogations and comments on what I just said a while ago.

"Hell-o? Are you even listening? I said you're crazy." She said, but I continue to ignore her.

But she said in a much quicker voice "Okay, just say the truth. Are you really serious about dating Chris? Because I know you don't want Andy and Hale know about this coz they'll do the same to you. And if you continue to act like you don't hear me this is so gonna be fun to tell them BUT if you'll just say you'll not gonna date that dork I'll be quiet and no one will ever know this."

Then she smiled at the end.

I don't want this to be even complicated than it shouldn't be so I said

"Okay, I said that to him just because I'm not comfortable being called Ashley, I get used to be Wind in school not Ashley, Ash or whatever."

She stopped walking and so do I. I look at her, I can see that she's judging if I really said the truth but I guess I'm really great hiding my true feelings and I practiced my poker face very well.
