Escape

Lucy's POV
I ran and cried as I escaped from my father who was calling my name.
"Lucy get back here"! He shouted.
"Never I'm leaving and that's final"! I said back. A few years ago I was only 5 I hated living in this house because all my dad did was treat me bad. All he did was ignore me and curse me. All I ever wanted was someone to love me and care for me. Ever since my mom died I have been lonely. I wish I had someone who would be there for me. My dad would also beat me for no reason. I would run to my room crying wishing my mom was here to comfort me with her soothing words. But no
I had to take all this pain throughout these 10 years. Now, that I was 15 I decided to leave this pathetic house. I kept running and never looked back. I ran and ran until I was tired. I looked at my surroundings to see where was I. I noticed I was in a village. I found a place where it looked comfortable to stay the night. I found a bench in a park. I set my luggage beside me and took my pillow and blanket. As soon as I got comfortable I soon fell asleep. But, then I woke up all of a sudden because I had a nightmare. I got up from the bench and decided to take a walk around the park. Even though it's dark the park looked nice since the stars are shining. Once, I cleared my mind off from the nightmare I had a few minutes ago, I went back to the bench and I fell asleep. Tomorrow is another day for me.
