False Abandonment

{ Len Kagamine }

Both Gumi and Rin weren't there for the next couple of classes. My instincts were telling me to go find them but something was telling me to stay in place. The rest of the days were filled with mummers and sideway glances.

Even if your social class is made when you come, your class can drop down and be replaced. Standing up for Gumi might have been my ticket to falling into an internal abbess. Walking onto the roof, I see Gumi and Rin standing hand in hand. They were standing on the edge of the roof, on the other side of the safety fence.

"Wait....what are you doing?" My voice cracked with every word. There was only one thing to do on the other side of the fence. The only thing they could do is climb back to the other side of jump off to death.

They both turned their heads around. Their eyes overfilled with joy, while the corner of their lips curled up into a smile. They both batted their eyes and as if on cue, they waved goodbye.

I ran to the edge but they were gone. I couldn't even take up the courage to look down. A couple seconds later a small splat could be heard on the ground. Everything was just about to get started. Turns out everything was ending.

My sister and my childhood friend, that I have been mourning over, are now gone...

The wind whipped in my face. The sweat from Rin's hand over took my hand. Slowly, I raised us closer to the ground. Looking up I see Len, not daring to look down at our "corpse" on the concrete. Everything had gone to plan, all we need is for Len to read the suicide note.

"Okay, Rin. Now we need to leave to the "corpse" here." She gives me a light nod.

We both start to descend to the vents. The cool mental brushed against my skin as I followed the route to the roof. Slipping through the opening, we spot Len unfolding the note.

"Dear Len,
I know it was sudden. Us just suiciding out of the blue. But just know Rin and I went through something we couldn't handle. But do something for us, as our last wish. Please don't tell anyone about our deaths. But your mom and dad is an exception. Please always remember us.
Love,
Gumi and Rin"

Len read everything out loud. Slightly sniffling and tearing up at everything that was being thrown at him. He wrapped up the note and placed it into his pocket. Making his way to the door, he looked back at the last place he saw us. Once he was through the door, Rin started to dial in her parents' number.

"Hey mom! I wanted to tell you I'm coming home early. Why am I? Well I'll tell you when I get there. Bye!" Rin fanatically closes the phone and we both run to her house.

Note | So yesh the plan is in action. I know it's been awhile since I posted but don't worry I'm not stopping. But yeah Gumi and Rin "died" and Len is now depressed. Comment any type of books you want to see. Promise I will, try to update more. Bue! ▲(￣▽￣)▼
