If you can't tell, yes I am disabled. I am not trying to romanticize disability, I just want more representation in fictional media that feels accurate to *MY* experience.
Everyone's experiences will be different, and as such it is difficult to accurately represent people with different disabilities.
I don't wish to elaborate on my personal struggles, nor do I want your pity. I want to be treated like a human being.
