"Okay." Jake said softly as he got off the couch and sat down on the floor on his knees, right in front of the small coffee table.

His computer was on, and his notepad was to his side as he stared at the TV that Sonny had shut off.

"How can I help?" He asked himself, as he wondered if there even was a point in the internet where he can find information on how to see a ghost.

He started off typing the most obvious question.

"How... to see.. a ghost." He typed as he said out loud before pressing search, his eyebrows raising in anticipation.

He clicked the first website he found, and his first instinct was to close the computer at the sight on the screen.

He placed a hand to his chest at the ugly picture of a creature on the website page that scared the crap out of him.

"Is there any other way besides the internet?" He spoke frightened as he looked around the room, trying to ask Sonny. "You don't look like that do you?"

He let out a small sigh, placing his head in his hands for less than a second, before opening his computer, and getting the picture off the screen as fast as possible, before clicking another website, but even if he clicked it multiple times, it wouldn't open.

"What the hell?" He questioned as he clicked it again, but it didn't work.

Suddenly all the lights in the apartment shut off, making him jump and let out a short scream.

He looked at his computer, and as he thought of using it as a way to look around, it shut off as well.

His eyes searched the dark room as he didn't know what would pop out at him.

He closed his eyes tightly, trying to calm himself down.

"Sonny, that was you right?" He questioned quietly, before opening his eyes.

His met another pair through the dark. His heart raised in fear as he stared at them.

"Sonny? Is that you? I can see you a little." He said carefully.

His eyes searched for other parts of her, seeing the shadow of her body.

"How can I see you like this but not with the lights on?" Jake questioned, and she shook her head, gesturing that she didn't know, but she reached out her hand towards him, making him scoot back in fear.

After moving away from her, Jake felt a little bad, as he could spot the hurt in her eyes from the rejection.

He tried to relax a little, before he reached his hand forward.

Goosebumps ran through his body as he could almost feel her hand holding onto his, but it was as faint as a morning breeze.

He stared in awe, as her fingers intertwined with his own. He could feel Sonny's hand even more now, although it wasn't warm at all, and quite cold.

He slowly intertwined his fingers with hers as well, his eyes running up to look at hers, and right as their gazes met, the lights switched on.

Jake's breath caught in his throat as he saw the girl sat in front of him, on the other side of the table, still softly holding onto his hand.

Her hair was tied into a very loose ponytail, and her gaze gentle. She had her pajamas on and seemed so normal as if she had just gotten out of bed.

And the best thing of all... "You're not scary." He whispered breathlessly, his eyes staying in hers.

She smiled a little, before taking her hand gently out of his.

His hand still stayed in the air, as he was still shocked to see her entirely.
