HINA'S first day at Harvard was a mix of excitement and events. As she awoke early in the morning, her heart raced with anticipation. Harvard had always been her dad's dream university, and today marked the beginning of a new chapter in her life.
With a sense of purpose, Hina meticulously picked out her outfit. She wanted to make a striking impression on her fellow students, and her confidence radiated as she stood before the mirror. She considered various combinations of clothes.
finally choosing a sleek dress that exuded a touch of her unique and traditional style - a white kameez with black leggings, with her long brunette hair down, she wore a decent golden chain around her neck, and to top it off she wore black detailed boots.
Unfortunately, her cooking skills were non-existent, and her hotel room was devoid of any breakfast options. She decided to grab a quick bite on her way to the university. Calling an Uber, she headed to her favorite coffee shop, where the aroma of freshly brewed coffee beckoned to her. She ordered her usual, a strong cappuccino, along with a pastry that she could enjoy during the ride.
As she stood in line, awaiting her coffee, fate had other plans for her. While lost in thought about her upcoming classes and the new people she would meet, she accidentally collided with a young man who was also in a hurry.
his golden brown eyes — black buttoned up shirt, the perfectly pressed pants and hair almost caught Hina of guard, but she snapped out of it.
In the chaos of the moment, he unintentionally spilled coffee on her pristine, new kameez. Hina couldn't believe her eyes, and in her frustration, she exclaimed,
"WHAT THE HELL!!!"
"Hell?" He mocked her, "I'm sorry."
He smirked and clearly didn't mean it, but Hina didn't have time to lecture him.She snapped,
"I'm getting late for university, and now my outfit is ruined," and stormed off; he didn't care. But there was no girl who could look into the eye of him ALI, she was different, she was, She was the enigma that unlocked the mysteries in his gaze, a unique blend of allure and independence.
Though she made her way to Harvard with the coffee stain as an unwanted accessory, Hina had always prided herself on her courtesy, and she still was very annoyed at that man.
Once she reached her class, Hina found herself in a room filled with unfamiliar faces. None of her old friends had enrolled at Harvard, so she was starting from scratch, friend-wise. Today was filled with introductions and ice-breaking activities as everyone was new to the environment.
While she should have been focusing on getting to know her classmates, her thoughts kept circling back to the coffee incident. The stain on her dress was a constant reminder of the unpleasant start to her day.
Amid the sea of strangers, a friendly girl approached her.
"Hello," she said with a warm smile.
Hina, still preoccupied with her earlier encounter, responded with a confused voice, "Hi."
The girl introduced herself, saying,
"Mera naam Aasiya hai."Hina, attempting to shake off her earlier mood, finally smiled and replied,
"Mera naam Hina hai"Little did Hina know that this unexpected introduction with Aasiya would be the beginning of a beautiful friendship that would ease her transition into Harvard and help her leave behind the regrets of her eventful morning. Aasiya turned out to be a cheerful and welcoming classmate who quickly introduced Hina to a few other students in the class. They both also shared a dorm room.
