Secret Waterfalls

The two were still in bed, with Serenity hugging close like a koala. He didn't mind though, he liked how clingy she was. Elijah was texting Klaus catching up on what's been happening. Rebekah was awaken and was already annoying Klaus which Elijah laughed at. The three were now in a shop waiting on Rebekah as she shopped for new clothes.

Elijah couldn't wait to tell his sister about meeting his soulmate. She could finally have another female friend and the two could hang out together. Poor Elijah didn't know that was far from the truth. He looked down at a sleeping Serenity, it amazed him how she could sleep for so long. He was going to let her sleep, she needed it from all the crying she had did yesterday. He rubbed her back as he just fidgeted around on his phone.

It was barely five minutes when Elijah couldn't keep still. He tried so hard to get from under Serenity but it was like the girl just knew when he was trying to leave.

"If you leave me consequences will happen." Serenity mumbles.

Elijah pursed his lips at that sentence to try and not laugh. "I'm just trying to use the bathroom." He lies quickly.

Serenity doesn't say anything and loosen her grip, she turns over and goes back to sleep. Elijah shakes his head and makes his way out the room and into the kitchen. He started humming as he started pulling ingredients out for breakfast. Caroline had popped in to let him know she was leaving for the day and laughed when Elijah told her that serenity was still asleep. Liz was out with Damon about Bill.

While Elijah was starting to cook, Serenity was feeling to see if Elijah was in the bed. When she felt the empty spot she slowly sat up and slowly opened her eyes. She saw her room and laid back down. She groaned and got out the bed putting her house shoes on and walking out her room.

She walks into the kitchen and wraps her arms around him placing her head on his back. He smiles as he continues to mix the pancake mix.

"How are you feeling?" He asks placing the bowl down and turning around in her arms holding her closer.

"Like shit, my eyes feel so heavy and I'm tired from crying so much." She says and he hugs her a little tighter.

"Well your sister seems to be feeling better. She told me she was heading out for the day and seemed like her usual self." He explained.

"That's my sister for you, she likes to hide the pain sometimes. She must starting to see you as family if she's letting you know that she's leaving instead of coming wake me up." Serenity says moving to see what he was making.

Elijah smiled at that thought. He had seen Caroline as family since he started getting closer to Serenity. 

"You know the way to my heart." She says seeing the pancakes mix. 

He laughed as he went back to cooking, forcing Serenity to sit down. 

Liz and Damon were now walking down into the old cellar where Liz had Bill locked down. 

"Double check him for vervain before you compel him." She says opening the door to let Damon in.

Damon walks over to Bill and takes the tape off his mouth. "So Bill, I hear you're into the whole daddy-daughter torture thing."

"I was trying to help them." Bill says looking to Liz.

"Well, if there's anyone who doesn't need help it's your annoying control freak of a daughter. Don't think I don't know what you did to Ren either." Damon says before biting Bill in the neck to see if he had any vervain in his system.
