Yuta's flashback :
Six years ago, Sendai City, Miyagi prefecture.
Kids are playing and running in the playground, spending their childhood with having fun.
"Over there, over there!"
Some kids shouted.
"What is it?"
The other kid shouted back.
But the main focus was on Yuta and Rika.
"Happy birthday, Yuta"
Rika said to Yuta with a smile on her face, the boy that playing a sand turned his head to her.
With a happy face, Yuta shout.
"Yay! Can I open it?"
He rambles.
"Go ahead"
She responded.
"Huh? I can open it?!"
Yuta asks her again
"I said go ahead."
The child replied.
Yuta open the box slowly.
"Huh? A ring?"He questioned, confused by the gift.
"An engagement ring."
She added.
"Engagement?"
She slowly connects her pinky finger to Yuta's making a pinky promise hand pose.
Yuta stared at her as his face start reddening.
"It's a promise. That when we grow up, we'll get married"
Rika said to him with a smile on her face as her face flush with a blush.
Time skip :
Rika got hit by a car, Infront of Yuta.
Infront of him.
A sound of woman screaming.
"Is this real?"
A man shouted.
"Hey! Hey call an ambulance!"
Someone shout.
"Idiot! Look at her! Are they okay?"
"There is no saving her! What happened?"
"Her head's crushed in!"
Yuta just stared at her body that no longer can be save.
"But still..."
"A child got run over by a car! Yes! Hurry!"
A man shout at his phone.
"I can't go near that!"
"Rika-chan?"
Yuta said calling her, knowing that she won't answer, he just stares at her dead body.
"Yuta..."
A sudden voice calls him and surprisingly her hands start moving in a weird way.
Yuta's eyes widen as he feels a hand touching his leg.
"Yuta."
Yuta stares at the girl that he loves become a ghost or more specifically, a cursed spirit. Terrified of her new weird & terrifying appearance.
"When we grow up, we'll get married!"
The cursed spirit blurt.
Yuta start to be panicked.
