Exploring the unknown.

1 month has passed since the MFTC tornument ended. The team's current goal is to discover the unknown archipelago where the Chaos emeralds went. GUN has already started an expedition with the reconnaissance unit to get to know the islands, as it is not known yet what danger it may contain. Sonic Tails and Amy are watching the mission in the center. The Fredomfighter team, led by Sally, remained in the city after Tails shared with them the concerns they had about Eggman. Team Dark searched all the remaining parts of the base for any clues to his escape plan. So far without success.

Knuckles searches for answers to the emeralds' mysterious movements on Angel Island. After completing his daily patrol, he helps an injured Chao when he comes across a previously unknown part of the Island. It looks very old, maybe it dates back to centuries before the island

Knuckles: That's weird. I thought I already knew every part of the island, but this is new to me too. I look around a bit. (He finds a cog in the rubble.) Strange. This object was not from this island at all, yet it was lying here. What can it be good for? (He goes even deeper where he finds a pillar structure with an opening at the bottom) Interesting. The opening has the same shape as the gear, it might even fit inside. (When he got closer, the cog automatically attracted to the slot and then-)

Knuckles: Whoah! Could it be better if-Huh? (Before he can finish his thought, the pillar structure pulls him in like a portal.)

Knuckles: Grr! I hate random teleportations. But where the hell am I?...Oh no ! The gear won't move from the column...that's my luck, It's stuck-Hmm? (He feels something familiar) One of the emeralds is nearby. Then It can only be ...The islands. Maybe with the help of the emeralds I could learn more about this place.

He sprints towards the emerald. As he follows his instincts, a familiar feeling comes over him the whole way through. He has never been here before, yet somehow he is not completely unfamiliar with the terrain.

Knuckles: The structures of these buildings...the landscape itself...and the air. It's like I'm on Angel Island from the distant past. However, I don't see any spark of life here. However, based on the design, a civilization must have lived here. Then where are they? The whole island looks deserted. (While searching, he stumbles upon some stone-like creatures who begin to follow him.

Knuckles: Huh? What could these be? And why are they following me? Anyway, I'll have the emeralds soon, I'll deal with them later. Ahh, there's the green emerald. It is interesting that it is insulated. (When he reaches it, he is surrounded by unsuspecting unknown enemies. There may be fifty of them. They do not attack)

Knuckles: (So where did these come from? They must think I'm hostile, but I need the emerald.) Listen Guys, I don't want trouble. I only came for the emeralds, and then they disappear. What are you talking about?

Soldiers: ...-...

Knuckles: Nothing? Then I'll just slowly- (they run towards him.) Well, then so be it.

Despite being overwhelmed, Knuckles takes this challenge with low effort. He easily knocks out the front of those who try to jump on him (20), he shakes them off with a punch, some try from a distance, he simply grabs their arms and throws them into the crowd. He separates the terrain from the land with a firm punch to the ground, and the one who stays up, Knuckles makes him fall down by throwing a pebble.
