-3rd POV-

It was a sunny day at Karasuno High, and the teacher announced to the class that today a new student transferred to Karasuno High and that they should welcome her.

"You can come in," the teacher said, looking towards the door, which slid open, and a female student with (h/c) hair walked inside, closing the door behind her she walked next to the teacher before turning towards the class and bowing. "My name is [Name] [Lastname], please take care of me," she introduced herself, and the class immediately broke out in whispers.

"Hey, isn't that the famous prodigy pianist?"

"Really? I heard her mother died a day before her performance."

The teacher noticed that [Name] felt uncomfortable, so she shushed the class before saying, "You can sit down next to Tsukishima. Tsukishima, please raise your hand," the teacher said, making Tsukishima snap out of his trance as he raised his hand and [Name] walked towards the seat next to him.

[Name] sat down on the seat next to Tsukishima and put her own stuff on the desk. She ignored the stares her classmates gave her, especially the piercing stare the boy next to her gave her, and just looked straight towards the board, listening to the lesson.

After class, when all the students left to go to the cafeteria, [Name] sighed and pulled out her bento box from her bag before leaving the classroom and making her way towards the cafeteria. However, what she didn't expect was that a familiar, short-tangerine-haired boy bumped into her, causing both of them to fall down.

"AHH, OMG, I'm so sorry." The tangerine boy immediately apologized and stood up, extending a hand towards [Name] to help her stand up. Once [Name] lifted her head to look at the tangerine boy, his eyes widened once he realized who she was.

"[Name]-chan?" He said he was surprised, upon seeing his Childhood friend and lowered his hand as [Name] stood up on her own, dusting herself off she looked towards the tangerine, letting out a sigh.

"Hello, Shoyo, it's been a while," she said with a small smile.

"I never expected to see you here, [Name]-chan! I missed you so much," Hinata said before tackling [Name] in a hug, making her stumble backwards a little as she patted his back awkwardly.

"Yeah, I missed you as well," she said as she broke the hug, and Hinata looked at her excitedly and asked, "Are you still playing piano?" He asked with a grin, making [Name] stiffen as she glanced around a little uncomfortably, but to Hinata's obviousness, he didn't realize it and continued to stare at [Name] expectingly.

"No," Hinatas grin fell, and his eyes widened upon the answer. He looked at [Name] questioningly.

"What do you mean with 'No'? You...stopped?"

"Yes, I stopped," [Name] answered, and Hinata couldn't believe what he was hearing right now. [Name] had stopped playing piano? After all the years since she was a kid, she had played piano, she stopped?

"You gotta be joking, [Name]-chan." Hinata said with a chuckle before realizing that [Name] wasn't joking once he saw the serious expression [Name] had. He noticed her eyes didn't shine as brightly as they used to, and she seemed to have eyebags betraying her, saying that she doesn't seem to get enough sleep.

"It's not that big of a deal, Shoyo," [Name] said, looking down at her bento box in her hands. Upon finally realizing that [Name] felt uncomfortable talking about the topic, Hinata tried to change the topic.

"Hey, since you stopped playing piano, how about you become the manager of the volleyball team? I heard Kiyoko-senpai saying that she could need some help," Hinata said while they both walked towards the cafeteria.

"Volleyball huh?..." [Name] mumbled lost in her own thoughts.

This could be the perfect opportunity to join a club since she needed to join one anyways, so why not try volleyball?

"Alright, I will," [Name] said with a small smile, making the tangerine boy grin, and both of them decided to walk towards the cafeteria together while they talked about the things that happened the past year. Well, it was mostly Hinata talking, and [Name] only listened to him, but nevertheless, [Name] enjoyed listening to her childhood friend she had missed before he had moved to Miyagi, and now that she's moved here to Miyagi from Tokyo, they could catch up on the time they missed.
