About 5 years ago, there were elections for the parliament and the president of our country. Everyone voted for Hwang Hyun Seok, believing he would change our country for the better. However, everyone was wrong. He was elected as president on March 21, 2129, but from the moment he took office, everything went wrong. Prices soared, unemployment surged, and our country became isolated from the rest of the world. People began to disappear, initially at a slow pace, but the rate accelerated over time. After about a month, all the parents were missing, leaving us minors alone. We were bewildered, trying to fend for ourselves, but then even children started vanishing quietly. Our population plummeted from 20 million to 1 million, then suddenly to 100,000 inhabitants. Robots took control of our country, relentlessly capturing children. However, as one adapts to danger, so did we. Like many, every child who evaded capture was bestowed with superpowers-except for me, Seraphina. I have yet to discover my superpowers, making it exceedingly challenging to defend myself against the robots. Moreover, I am alone, devoid of friends, which exacerbates the difficulty.
