"Headmaster Dumbledore!" Harry and I run towards Dumbledore's office, Harry has a question for him. "Dumbledore!" We find Professor McGonagoll instead of Dumbledore, absolutely horrified as she stands at his empty desk, dumbfounded.
"Headmaster Dumbledore has been Petrified," Harry says and reluctantly, I nod my head. This is the truth, but I don't want to believe it. It can't be. Dumbledore has to be trying to scare somebody, or maybe he sleeps with his eyes open.
"Madison, I know what you're thinking," McGonaggol says, and I am almost certain that she would expel me for being out of class, or the commons, "but it's okay to be afraid. And you aren't expelled for not being where you're supposed to be."
"Okay," I answer and this cheers me up a little bit. At least I can still be at Hogwarts. Where people are being Petrified . . . .
"I'm going to make an announcement. Potter, I need you to get Hermione Granger and Ronald Weasley to come to my secret office, you too, and Malfoy, you follow me." Our professor says and so I follow her down a narrow hallway to a door. She has a desk with a microphone on it. "Malfoy, this is not my office." She says, answering the question that I didn't even ask yet.
"I need all students to return to their Houses immediately, including prefects." Minerva says, and just like that, I hear thudding sounds, feet pounding against the stairs as Gryffindors make their way to the common rooms. Minutes after, there's a knock on the door and I see Ron's one of a kind fiery red hair. I can hear Hermoine casting a spell and the door swings open.
"Okay," Minerva says to Harry and I. "Tell those two what we're doing, while I find the key." She fumbles around and Harry turns to Hermione and Ron, explaining about the office, and Dumbledore. "Ah-hah!" We can hear our professor shouting in the background.
