𝟎𝟏 - the incident.

𝗛𝗘𝗬❟ 𝗔𝗥𝗘 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗔𝗪𝗔𝗞𝗘? "

When I opened my eyes, I heard a young man's voice.
The owner of the voice, a black-haired man, was sitting in a chair next to the bed.

"How are you feeling? You've been sleeping for a long time,"
he says, intertwining his fingers with mine and holding my hand tightly.

When I looked around the room, I saw an unfamiliar ceiling and an unfamiliar room. I don't remember anything about this house, whose beds, walls, and floors all looked so luxurious. I mean─

"What's wrong? You look so strange.''
He stares into my face with a feverish gaze, and my mind goes blank.
Wait a minute.

"Wh...Who are you?"
"?...You can't remember...!?"

"I'm Hajime Kokonoi. You call me Coco-kun, but you can call me whatever you like. You got into an accident on your way home from shopping... and other than a slight hit on your head, you were not seriously injured. I'm glad you didn't.''

"So you were the one taking care of me?"

"Pfftt.. were lovers, don't you remember?"

When you wake up, you wake up in a world where you don't know everything.
Where am I and who am I? Who are you, or what happened? As I was desperately thinking, I could hardly believe my ears when I heard the words of the man in front of me, the only person who seemed to understand the situation.

He sat in a luxurious-looking chair next to my bed, his slender legs crossed, and he told me the story of how I came to be in my current situation.

"I tried to take you to the hospital, but right after the accident you were walking normally and seemed fine. You insisted that you were okay, so I stayed at home to check on you."
"Huh..."
"After a while, I got a headache and went to sleep." I fell asleep, and when I woke up, I had lost my memory.''
''I-I'm sorry...?''
"It wasn't your fault, don't you remember that you went to the police?'' "I see...''

"It was a hit-and-run, and the other person was still there. We're searching for them...I think it's best to let it cool down for now.''

After saying that, he stood up and went to get an ice pack. It was true that there was nothing wrong with my body, but my head was throbbing and hurting terribly.
I don't remember getting into an accident, going to the police, or coming back to this house. In fact, I don't remember anything about that man or myself.
Everything feels blurry right now, and the pain in my head is the only thing that tells me it's real.
