"Goodmorning mani, what you wanna eat today" i said as I woke Imani up with a kiss. Ever since her dad passed I've been doing my best to try and keep her lifted or just make life a little easier, for her and her mom.
"Whos Mani" she groaned as she pulled me in close and kissed me
"I apologize my sweetie baby, but what do you want for breakfast" i asked kissing her again
"Your accent is so sexy" she said and she yawned
"Baby" I laughed
"Sorry, breakfast, right...uhmmmm.....chocolate milk, toast, eggs, smoothie, andddddddddddd thats it" she said stretching
"Okay my love, i go right away......chocolate milk annndd a smoothie?!" i asked
"Yes" she laughed.
"Alright, nasty" I chuckled giving her a few more kisses before I left the room. I headed to the bathroom first to go brush my teeth then went into the kitchen to make breakfast
"You want anything ma ma" i asked Imani's mom
"How generous, but No thank you, I already ate" She yelled from the living room
"Okay" i said and continued to make me and mani's plate. Once i finished i headed back to the room and handed my baby her food and drink Then we ate breakfast together while watching kung fu panda 4.
"Papa would be so happy we got together" mani mumbled
"Really" i asked
"Yea....he always liked you" she said
"I never knew....i wish i knew him better" i said
"He was the best dad....one of those TV dads, i miss him" she sighed
"I know mama..it's hard. im here to help you and your mommy get through it" i said holding her and as i kissed her cheek.
"I appreciate you" she smiled while looking up at me
"I appreciate you too my love" i said. We continued eating and after we got done we showered and got dressed for the funeral. Today's gonna be a hard one i sighed to myself.
