TW: prepare for the biggest fluff overload :)San's POV
It's all buzzing in my head, the crowds, the noises, the people screaming on wild rides, the strong, sweet smell of cotton candy everywhere, but there's one thing I can see clearly, one thing I have all my focus on, and it's the pretty boy in the baby blue sweater.
I liked him when he dressed 'normal', but this just seems more like him, I know somewhere, he never wanted the grey building and black suit and tie, he wanted to be like this but it was repressed by fear.
I feel a sense of pride bringing this part out in him, he looks happy.
The sun is setting but it's still warm outside, the spring air forming a cool breeze above the heat of the crowds.
'So, you wanna ride something?', I only notice how weird that sounded after I said it.
But he didn't notice.
He didn't notice.
'Sure, I'm not so much of a roller coaster person though'
'Let's do the ferry wheel then'
'Okay'
I grab his hand, interlocking my fingers with his while walking there. His hand feels so small, fragile, making me want to take care of it, so I hold it tighter.
'Two tickets please', I take out my wallet.
The fat man in the small cabin sits back in his chair, looking at Wooyoung with a disgusting smirk. I step in front of him, feeling the strange need to protect the smaller. Luckily, Wooyoung didn't seem to notice a thing since he was looking up at one of the rides.
'Four dollars', he's still smirking.
I see Wooyoung finally noticing the creepy stare and backing away, trying to hide behind me, clearly uncomfortable. I take his hand and stare at the creep in a way that screams 'he's mine'. The man takes my card angrily and gives me the tickets, I walk away from the cabin as fast as possible, tightly holding Wooyoung's hand.
'So much for dressing cute', he sighs.
'Nothing will happen to you as long as I'm here'
I can see his eyes lighten up a bit, it's a relieve.
Wooyoung's POV
San's face looks worried when the ferry wheel is taking us up, showing a beautiful view of the spring sunset.
'What's wrong?'
'Nothing'
I don't believe it, 'You're not scared of heights, are you?'
'I-I am'
I chuckle, the big, protective San is scared of heights, 'Don't worry, nothing will happen to you as long as I'm here'
He looks away in embarrassment, but all he can see around him is the thing he's most scared of, so his face just turns back towards me instead.
'If you're so scared, why did you say we should go on the ferry wheel?'
'I thought you would like it'
'You did it for me?'
'Of course'
'Then let's do something you like next'
'You don't have to'
'I want to, what do you want to do?'
'I like that roller coaster over there', he points at the window down to a small rollercoaster, but it sees to go really fast.
'Sure'
I'm taking a few pictures out the window and of San, who is still looking at me in fear of facing the heights, but he seems to calm down a bit as time passes, laughing at my eagerness to take the perfect picture of the setting sun.
San lets out a sigh of relieve when the ferris wheel finally comes to a stop, letting us out of the cabin.
'Let's go to the roller coaster now'
He hesitates, almost regretting his decision of saying he wants to go on the rollercoaster but he comes along with me anyway.
San's POV
'Let's go again'
'What?', I'm surprised at his happy face after going on the rollercoaster, I thought he hated rollercoasters.
'I want to go again'
'You said you weren't a rollercoaster person'
'I'd just never tried it yet' he smiles, 'and it looked quite scary'
'You haven't?'
'No'
'Let's go again then'
But boy I regret that now, we've done this rollercoaster 5 times now, and the three other ones, even the one I'm scared of myself.
'I think we should stop now, baby'
He looks disappointed, as if he wants to do all of them 10 more times.
'Let's go eat something, there's corn dogs over there', I try to cheer him up, feeling guilty of the disappointment on his face. The guilt washes away when I see his excited smile.
'These are so good'
'They are', I wipe a bit of mustard from his bottom lip, earning a soft giggle.
It's completely dark by now, just the lights of the amusement park falling on Wooyoung's face. I want to kiss him. I want to kiss him so badly right now. He looks up at me with doe eyes, big eyes sparkling in the sheer light, which is not helping.
I cup his cheek with my hand, staring deeply into his dark eyes. He looks back into mine, before breaking the contact when he notices the people around us. I let go of his face when I see he's uncomforable with me kissing him in public.
The awkward moment doesn't take long though as he munches up the last of his corn dog and notices a tiny shop selling plushies, cups, pens et cetera. He walks towards it, almost running in excitement.
He looks like a little kid coming here for the first time. He's so cute.
'Hey, baby'
He looks up, surprised. I saw cute fluffy cat ears, I take them off of the display and hold them in front of Wooyoung.
'These would look so cute on you'
'I'll wear them if you wear these bunny ears', he grabs another pair of fluffy ears.
I put them on without a struggle, putting the cat ears on Wooyoung's head, taking a few seconds to admire his beauty.
'You're so cute, baby', I whisper.
He takes out his phone to take a picture of me, 'smile'
I try to make a cute face, putting my fingers on my cheeks, Wooyoung shows a wide smile and takes a picture of me.
'Let's take a picture together', I suggest.
He hesitates, but then turns around to take a picture of both of us, with our fluffy ear accessories, I pinch Woo's cheek with one hand.
The camera shutter clicks.
I give Wooyoung a kiss on his cheek, the shutter clicks again.
