How long can a Crush even last?

You know, I've had a crush on Lev for the longest time. It all started back in my third year of middle school, and since then, I've been drawn to him. Well, not just drawn to him, but to who he truly is – kind, creative, childish,, and utterly beautiful. His messy hair, his captivating heterochromia eyes, the way his glasses frame his face, and his unique sense of style, it all adds up to someone incredibly special. But what bothers me is why he feels the need to conceal all of that. I've asked him about it countless times. Why does he think he has to straighten his hair, hide his heterochromia, and keep his glasses off his face? It's something I just can't wrap my head around. I've seen it on TV during the Nationals Fight of Karasuno vs Nekoma. When I first saw him, I thought he was someone else and not the guy I've had feelings for.

Then again, how would anyone on his team or classmates react if he suddenly went back to his original appearance full time?

I shake my head as we continue driving home. Lev is tapping his foot to the music playing in the car, Megumi & Frederick are just gossiping about their own school drama, and the Twins were just showing each other memes and not really talking much to each other.

I first met Melania and Argenis when they just moved here. At the time, Meliana had recovered from a rather traumatic event that lead to her being stabbed and was still healing in a way. We were all in our second year of Middle School at that point, while Lev, Frederick, and Megumi were in their first year of school. Our Middle school, unfortunately, lacked tech-related clubs, aside from handling lights and other technical aspects for the Drama Club, which I found myself gravitating towards. They joined the Drama Club with me. Argenis took charge of photography and sound-related tasks for the club, while Meliana became instrumental in promoting plays and recruiting new members.

In those days, Meliana exuded boundless energy and was known for her boisterous nature, while Argenis wore his emotions on his sleeve – understandable given the circumstances.

Meanwhile, Megumi excelled as one of the costume designers and frequently starred as the lead actress for many of the plays that weren't romance related. She first joined the club so that she could have something to do while her Older Brother did Volleyball practice. But, she realized how much she enjoyed making costumes and clothes, and also with the fact she was in charge of it all gave her a sense of leadership. She will always be known as an odd-ball, due to her eccentric appearance and high hyper-independence. But, she remains a kind-hearted individual with good intentions. However, her older brother's character presents a different narrative.

Frederick took care of the Treasury most of the time, though was a decent actor when needed. He did try to sign up for the Student Council at first, but the middle school had a weird policy of not allowing first years to join the Student Council. He stayed in the Drama Club during Middle School after seeing how his contributions to the Treasury helped the Budget (which was low).

Lev showcased his talent in improv during his time in the Drama Club. Though, his main focus has been making and preparing props and backgrounds ever since he joined the Drama Club. Even with a Low Budget, Lev used his hands and talent to fix, paint, and build props and backgrounds for the actors/actresses of the show.

In fact, we all became friends thanks to being in the Drama Club. Making new friends, plus being in that club is just all good memories. Many Chaotic, but hey. Middle School will always be a Chaotic moment for so many people.

I honestly could say I was way more of a grumpy person in Middle School. And more of an Asshole, honestly. I mean, I'm still a little bit of a grumpy asshole today. Even in high school, I find myself getting into arguments (usually within reason) with teachers and fellow students over various things. It's just part of who I am, I guess.
