We came home after a silent ride. We went to our respective rooms and slept.
# 2 days later
I was preparing breakfast for Taehyung and he was getting ready upstairs. A few minutes later, I was done. I went upstairs to call him for breakfast. I saw he was struggling with his tie while talking on the phone with someone. The expression he had on his face which clearly shows he was frustrated. Probably because he was in a rush for a meeting.
"Aish this guy....can't he just calm down for a bit and do things properly " - I thought and sighed.
I went up to him without saying anything and took the tie from his hand. I started tying it.
TAEHYUNG POV :
I was talking with my secretary while struggling with the tie. Suddenly Y/n came and started fixing it. This was the first time I was this close to her. I observed her face. I realised that she has actually great visuals like everyone says. My eyes went to her lips. They had a slight pout.
She was done fixing my tie and then moved back. I realised what I was doing and felt my cheeks getting red. I cleared my throat and said,
Taehyung : Thanks.
After that I continued my conversation with my secretary and went out of the room.
Y/N POV :
Woah ! Did he just thank me? What happened to him suddenly...
Anyways I better go downstairs .
I went down and saw him going to the door. I called him out.
Y/n : Taehyung !
He stopped on his track and turned to me.
Y/n : Won't you have your breakfast?
Taehyung : No,I'm running late for a meeting.
Y/n : Then just wait a minute, let me pack it up for you.
Taehyung : No -
Y/n : Please?
Taehyung : Okay but do it quickly.
I quickly packed the food and gave it to him. After he left, I ate breakfast.
After I finished breakfast,I started using my phone. I got a call from my mother-in-law.
Taehyung's mom : Y/n dear,how have you been ?
Y/n : I've been good mom. How are you? And What about dad?
Taehyung's mom : We both are fine. I actually called you to inform you that we'll be coming tonight to visit you guys.
Y/n : That's great ! I'll inform Taehyung about this.
Taehyung's mom : Okay. I'll be hanging up now. See you later.
After the call ended, I texted Taehyung that Mom and Dad will be coming tonight.
TIMESKIP ~
It was night. Taehyung came from office in the evening. We were waiting for Mom & Dad to come. Suddenly the doorbell rang which indicated that they've arrived. I opened the door and welcomed them with a smile.
We all sat in the living room and started talking about different things. Then it was time to eat dinner. We all headed to the dining table. I served food to everyone.
Taehyung's mom : Y/n why are you standing there? Come have dinner with us.
Y/n : It's okay. I'll eat later.
Taehyung's mom : Tae,why don't you tell her?
Taehyung stopped eating and looked at me while I also glanced at him. He quietly grabbed my hand and made me sit on the chair next to him. I smiled a little at this action.
After dinner, everyone went to their rooms. I wore my night suit and was brushing my hair. Then I suddenly thought of asking mom what would she like to eat for breakfast tomorrow.
I went in front of her room and saw the door was a bit open. I heard conversation going on between mom and Taehyung. I decided not to eavesdrop so I turned around to leave. But I stopped when I heard my name.
Taehyung's mom : Why can't you just accept Y/n as your wife ?
Taehyung : You know it very well mom.
Taehyung's mom : I can see that you still live in separate rooms. You should give this marriage a chance,Tae. Y/n is a good girl.
Taehyung : This good girl thing is just an act. She's just a good digger like other girls. I only married her because you forced me. Otherwise I don't even look at such girls.
Gold digger? You think like that of me? I couldn't believe my ears. What have I ever done to be called a good digger? It hurts so bad.
I controlled my emotions and knocked on the door.
Taehyung's mom : Come in.
I went inside. Taehyung and I made a small eye contact. I quickly looked away.
Y/n : Umm... mom,I just wanted to ask what you would like to have for breakfast tomorrow?
Taehyung's mom : Anything dear. I know what you'll make will be tasty.
I nodded and wished her good night. Then I left.
Meanwhile Taehyung's thought : She didn't hear it right?
I went to my bedroom and laid down on my bed. Taehyung's words were still roaming around my head. How could he say that ? Can't he see how much I care for him? Unknowingly tears started appearing in my eyes. I cried myself to sleep.
