𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗢𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗥 𝗦𝗜𝗗𝗘 𝗢𝗙 𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗔𝗗𝗜𝗦𝗘 - 𝖺 𝗐𝖺𝗋𝗋𝗂𝗈𝗋𝗌 𝗋𝗈𝗅𝖾𝗉𝗅𝖺𝗒

𝗖𝗟𝗔𝗡 𝗜𝗡𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗠𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡

the two clans reside on an island. the climate is rather dry all year, except for a three—moon long mud season. a few parts of the island are cliffy (mostly around the shorelines) or mountainous, but the majority is grassy with pine trees scattered about.
the eastern side of the island belongs to 𝗿𝗶𝘃𝘂𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗰𝗹𝗮𝗻, and the western side belongs to 𝗰𝘆𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗰𝗹𝗮𝗻.
the clans commonly get into battles— they both wish to be the stronger clan that can rule over the other clan.

the two clans used to be very close— until borders were more clearly set during a time of prey shortages and they became more defensive.
before the borders were created, the clans had a system to have stronger cats in each clan. the system was that apprentices at the age of 6–7 moons had the freedom to rotate between the clans to find which one was better for them— climbing and swimming in cypressclan, or running in rivuletclan. however, apprentices were forced to stay in their birth clans after the relationship between the clans deteriorated.

the clans constantly fight over territory, but there are multiple prey—rich spots that they fight over more then others. one of these is the small twoleg—place at the southern middle part of the island that has a large amount of chicken farms.
barn—cats from these farms stand a huge threat to the clans, as a large amount of their prey are the chickens— prey is still extremely hard to find in other parts of the island. due to this, any cats seen with a relationship of any sort with a barn—cat is against the code and the cat may be punished greatly.

the clans meet every moon at five trees on the border called the 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗼𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗲𝘀. despite this being a special place of peace, it is commonly fought over by the clans. the clans claim that it's starclan's fault for blessing the area with plentiful prey.
