-a new companion.-
___________
Walking through the bustling market was 2 men dressed in light cloaks, said cloaks having light intricate designs at the end part at the bottom. Both men were clearly a few years apart, one being slightly shorter and youthful than the other.
Overall both were handsome despite the covering mouth veil they had on, it caught a few people's attention to which wasn't responded to. After all, the 2 were just at the market of gusu yaoyan to buy items. But of course, you can never go to yaoyan without hearing the gossip and rumours spreading around.
"Diedie." The young man softly called out as he stopped in his tracks. The soft call out was not left unnoticed by the surrounding people nor the person he called out to. Some hoped that the boy didn't call out the man because he was quite handsome and some wanted to try their luck on him. Unfortunately for them, the man indeed stopped in his tracks and turned to the boy he deemed his son.
"Is something wrong a-yuan?" The man called out, sizhui had his gaze on a vendor and of course his father didn't fail to notice. Wangji called "ah right. Let's get you your gifts." He said and walked towards the vendor with sizhui.
"What disciples did you say the 2 were?" "Jin and Lan." Lan zhan hummed and stood there as sizhui did what he pleased by picking out gifts
Sizhui deliberately told his father about the said invitation of his xiongzhang a few weeks back. Of course Lan zhan was skeptical at first, but after finding out the actual reason why he wanted to visit cloud recesses he agreed. Of course, Lan zhan didn't agree on joining with him to go to cloud recesses, I mean why would he when he had a past with it.
Lan wangji still cared for Wei yuan's happiness in different ways, and seeing him smile throughout the whole talk of meeting people made Him weak and vulnerable, his thoughts went wild before he was snapped back to reality when sizhui tugged on his sleeves. "Diedie, the coins" he nudged. Lan wangji nodded and handed the coins to the vendor before leaving with his son.

"Come on I promise! I'll even pay you for the whole night stay!" A lady pressed her chest onto Lan wangji's, clearly she can't see how uncomfortable Wangji has been since she was too busy trying to blind him with something wangji wasn't interested in.
Sizhui was nowhere near them because he went to a store nearby to fetch some fabric as what his father asked. Of course, knowing his Beloved father, he takes his time finding good quality fabrics to please his father. It wasn't everyday his father praises him for small things, let alone when it comes to fabric. His father was always so fond of making things perfect, neat and fancy for sizhui so he can have the privileges of being known as a pretty youthful boy and not 'homeless poor boy' that makes Lan zhan want to cause war.
With that being said, Lan wangji was not having it when sizhui had accidentally got tea splattered on his robes just because a woman wanted to get Wangji's attention because he was 'handsome.'. hands down, Wangji didn't like women, but even if he did he didn't want obsessed desperate women. Yet the woman kept on insisting she could repay him, wangji would have agreed if she didn't say "I'll repay you with my body!" Out of the blue. Lan zhan had to tell sizhui to go to the nearest fabric store and ask to buy new fabrics for new robes, while his son was away it was taken as a chance for Lan wangji to not let his son see the very disturbing disgusting commotion the woman was making. Yes, the woman was gorgeous, the men who had their eyes laid on the scene were slightly irritated and so were the women because of both sides. Lan zhan declined so many times but it seemed like the woman didn't see the hint and pressed on into his boundaries.
